I just hope that juggerdrome wouldn’t be like a tower defence game, a swords and sandels themed game, a card game, or a thing-thing themed game.

However, u said it was a *quick* game so I suppose it might as well be a card game of some sort, that has a theme. If it *might* be one of those upgrade to the max games (UPGRADECOMPLETE), then surely i’d enjoy it.

Totally random, but how didja get into the flash business?

Started working in advertising at a small web agency. Spent 7 years there, learned Flash along the way doing banner ads and websites in the beginning and then eventually moved into running a team of guys making games for companies. Funny and true story, my first Flash lesson was given to me by a 16 year old work experience kid.

In Last stand 3, could you PLEASE put a mute button? So many good games don’t have a mute and it is tiring to hear a chainsaw in the background of your music.

i just finished replaying both last stand games and i see that the reload of the weapons is done rather slow sure he stars fast but at the end he slows down why is that? and for last stand 3 there is a new weapon used by terrorists ore russians AK-74… use that it can penetrate a bullet prof vest … and a minigun that wold be verry cool 12 barells of death …and the fire rate of the survivors is a little low and they barely hit something… and if it takes 3-4 months to make it make the game as long as that:P a bigger map and more weapons.. keep up the good work

Here’s a farfetched idea, but I’m just throwing it out there for ya, Con. How about a Warfare: Last Stand? Meaning it’s Survivors vs. Zombies and vice versa and it’s the same strategic “Click and Position” format, like you click on Infantry and 5 people come running out….AND you get to search for Resource Points or something like that. Whaddya think? XD

What if in the next the Last Stand, the infection reached aboard the ship that you took away from the mainland. Most of the crew was dead, and you had to survive on the bridge as the ship nears a port in England. You then need to survive several days as the army closes in on the port to check for survivers.You then have 15 days to escape the area around the city before it is neutron bombed to control the outbreak. You go from the port to the town center to the suburban area to the forest near the city limits, then take to the highway. And what if for the forest and ighway you need to fight off zombies from all sides?

What if I’ve already had the entire story planned out since before I finished Last Stand 2.

I was wondering what you mean’t by Lamb of God on your Twitter so I looked it up on google. Seems to be a metal band. It also remarkably resembles Metallica. If you are unaware of that band you should check it out. For the mean time I’ll listen to some LOG music. *starts head-banging*

Yeah I meant the metal band. I’ve been listening to Metallica since the late 80′s. Lamb of God are not really that similar, but equally as awesome. Check out their album “Ashes of the Wake” from 2004, great stuff.

Dear Con i honestly enjoy your games esp last stand its just a fun series. and as annoying as it must be to get suggestions from people on here i would like to make a request. Will you please add a volume bar or a mute button. as much as i love to hear the sound of zombies eating lead, im one of the people who play a game through the first time letting every thing play just as the developer intended but once through i normaly watch a show and play so if you added a volume bar it would be helpful. Also do you think you could have the survivors you find bring their own guns like in last stand 1 but be able to give them more like in last stand 2.

Volume will be muteable. It’s a standard thing I’ll be adding in as I’ve done with my last few games. As for survivors, they’ll work completely differently. The third Last Stand game is going to be vastly different from the previous two, you’ll just have to wait and see.

Mr. Con, I was just wondering: Have you ever thought about moving from flash games to console or PC games?

That’s kind of where I came from. Initially I was into modding for PC FPS games, did that for a couple of years on contract and then moved into the advertising world. While there I directed a small 3D game called ADF Aviator, relatively small budget and small dev time. What I’m getting at is that building those big games takes time, more people and skills I don’t have on my own. Development cycles take years instead of months, not something I want to get back into.

That’s really cool Con, thanks for answering back. I was just wondering cause flash game designers just seem so creative. In the same way that movie makers outside studio systems seem so creative. Not to say there’s no boring indie movies or no good studio games.

It’s like you said 28 Days Later inspired Last Stand. That movie was shot on digital instead of film, because it’s cheaper and faster, but the technique also created a certain style.

All in all almost anything to do with zombies is cool though.

Yeah, part of that creativity comes from our ability to independantly develop ideas very quickly without any real risk or monetary pressure. I’ve got friends who work for large and small game studios and even thinking about developing new Intellectual Property is scary for them. Wheras I can put something together with no stress at all.

Ive been neglecting this site for a while now. Minus the fact that there was starting to be very few updates over time, but the forum was stuffed with crap and spam so I stopped reading it. This new game your working on is good news in my opinion, because lets face it, despite what the fans want, you probably wont be making new sequels for Last stand and warfare over and over. So it will be good for you to make a game or two in between to get some new ideas flowing etc.

Sorry Con, there was a misinterpretation. When you said “out next week” on post 66, I just added 7 days, not taking into account that the 13th was a Sunday, thus when the 20th rolled around…..

Just wanted to mention an idea about the Last Stand series that you could have already heard a billion times already but I’m going to risk it. Please don’t rape my head off. Have you concidered having to search for ammo? It was nice having an unlimited amount when you were defending from a barricade, and makes sense to have a big old box o’ ammo but if you were talking about breaking out of the barricade you have to go light. It always adds to the intensity of the game (at least for me) when being chased by a horde with one clip left.
