Railways and Upgrades and Panzers, oh my

Posted by: Con in News, Warfare

Working my way through the last third of the U.S Campaign maps. They’re coming together rather nicely and it’s a hell of a lot more varied than the 1917 campaign in a number of ways.

There’s still quite a bit to do (including the entire German campaign) but that should come together over the next week or so. One last thing, it’ll be after the 20th that’s for sure at this point, but it’ll definitely between then and the end of the month. Now enjoy a few new screens (click for big ones).

  • Arkinauta

Ja ja ja. You know how to make people suffer :D
    It looks fantastic!

  • Anon

    Oh My

  • Voe

You are my new god, Con :D
Btw, what about the campaigns, I hope that they’ll be harder than the Warfare 1917′s ones. 40% faster artillery reload was imba :D

  • Jake Galli

Yeah that was a major flaw in the Warfare 1917, couldn’t get enough points for the good upgrades. Keep up the good work Con!

  • bryan

wow this looks awesome how long the campaigns will be and if doing custom maps will u be able to change the background of the battlefield :D

  • Unknow

Man, this look fantastic, you’re the best.

  • spirit

i jizzed my pants reading this

    I CANT WAIT

  • Matt

I don’t want to be pushy or anything, but perhaps the German campaign could start by attacking Poland and conquering the rest of Europe, then end at turning back the allied tide at Normandy or even an invasion of Great Britain. Anyway, great job on the game so far!

  • Ash

Brilliant Con, no rush, but I would be very pleased to see it ready before the start of July.

  • megadeath

    the panzer look awesome!

  • Georia

You got gold in your hands. You got to be good with 10 millions of plays with your games. Looking forward!

  • Sam

I think the game should stick to the historical background. The Nazis winning WWII is so not cool.

  • Alex

i agree with Sam NAZIs winning WWII would make me very sad panda

  • Someone

The only reason I come on is because listening to you people freak out about this game comming out, and think that he is going to restructure the entire game/campaign within a week before it comes out

  • RopRop-Panda

This game looks awesome, but Panda sure hope it comes out before July =)

  • Just another boondocksaint

So what will the German Campaign look like? Can you give few examples?

  • http://deadcity1.webs.com/ hellsfirstwave

its close i know it, for it to come out.

  • Alex

to someone if you read he said he was working on the German Campaign now so that means he’s working on it maybe you should read what Con says before you go ahead and make fun of people

  • Matt

As a response to Alex and Sam, I don’t want to offend you, but the game wouldn’t be that fun if you lost the German campaign in the end. Also, if Germany could win in Warfare 1917 why not in 1944 as well?

  • Kevin

What I like about all of Con Productions’ games is that they are all so finely tuned. The fact that you couldn’t buy all the upgrades in 1917 seemed more like a delibirate choice rather than an oversight. Then again, I can’t really speak objectively ’cause I’ve liked all these games.

  • ChemicalReaper

This is going to be fun – and by that, I mean this is going to be the best online game in the history of the internet.

Honestly, though, I really hope it’s not TOO different from WF1917. The original game was pure gold. To change it too much could be a bad thing.

Thank god for the bazooka, having loads of assault troops rush the tank wasn’t really effective against tanks.

  • Marc

    wow this looks amazing
it would be cool if its published on the last day of my school
anyway the screenshots are great keep up the good work

  • Alex

to Matt: ya but WWI was not as bad. but in WWII i wouldn’t want NAZI Germany winning

  • Koppers

I wonder if the campaigns would be more authentic if they had been designed like this:

    - 1st Campaign, you play as the US\Allies, and take the battlefield from Omaha to Paris.

    - 2nd Campaign, you play as Germany, and must breakthrough the American defenses during the Battle of the Bulge (with the final battle in Bastogne, or wherever the furthest extent of the advance was)

  • conrad

con has put alot of work into this game i mean ALOT of work so dont worry its going to be worth it and its going to be THE BEST GAME in armor games website and the world and last stand 3 will also be the BEST game in the world and on amor games!

  • Con

It’s a bit more “micro” than that Koppers. Both of the campaigns focus on fictional missions within Normandy shortly after the D-Day invasion.

The German campaign will consist of a number of timed defensive maps where the goal is to hold off the US advance.

  • Matt

Ah. Thanks for the clarification, Con.
