Yeah, I’ll be keeping up with the alpha and beta releases, they’re going to be pretty vital to getting the game balanced and done. Can’t say anything about the new Joey Betz game yet, but lets say I’ve seen some very early stuff and it’s looking awesome.

Hey con, don’t rush the release bro, we don’t want another windows vista take as much time as you need, better to wait for a amazing game then to get it quickly and have it suck ass.
Also I was looking into programming for myself and was wondering where a good place to start is.

Most programming languages have a similar base to them, pretty much anything you learn will carry over. It’s kind of like learning to drive a car, you can get in a truck or a bus and have a loose idea of how things work. But for starters, try out a scripting language like Actionscript (for Flash) or Java. Start simple, then find a good project that forces you to learn as you go.

April? no biggie, Personally i would be willing to wait till summer if you thought it was necessary in order to give this game the attention it deserves. I mean this game is gonna add a lot of stuff previously never seen or attempted in other flash games so it defiantly should be made the best it can be made before it wows us all.

like you said your time frame is not big enough for what you expected, thats usually what people do so not unusual. like kuronosan said, take your time and get it done right (im sure you will). id rather have a great game come out a little later than a good game early (missing graphics in other words). all in all i am going to be like a good normal person (whatever normal is) and wait for it to come out with out the help of freezing myself

Con, your games are really great (nuthin u probably haven’t heard before) just wondering why your the only person working on this game. Couldn’t you have trimmed down the release date by working with a partner or two ?
PS. Ur great and ur games are even better.

I could, but then I’d miss out on the fun part (for me) which is building something from the ground up on my own. But I do get pockets of help, with music and a small amount of artwork stuff, like the storybook illustrations in Sin Mark.

I totally agree with Con here. I love makeing games(not so much other applications but whatever) and it is very gratifying building something from scratch. Yes it goes faster with more people working on it(most the time). But even though I(yup bringing it back to me) work solo I still have a lot of imput from other people. My Uncle Perry used to work for Pandemic Studios. He overlooked quite a few of their major games. His most notable games were Army Men RTS, Star wars Battlefront II, and Mercenaries World in Flames. He played the Last Stand 2 and had some advice. I don’t wanna be down your shirt about anything cause you probably know what your doing. If you wanna hear what he had to say just comment back..

From the detail and all the effort that seems to be going into this iam sure it will be sweet.

Con, i have played almost every goddamn game on the internet. I need to tell you, i like your games better than some console games. I actually bought left for dead (i know i know i would rather commit seppuku than do that again) and after the first hour i was like fuck this and i played last stand 1 & 2. Just astounding quality to the games and the smoothness of the gameplay, you are by far my favorite game designer on the ENTIRE INTERNET. Take your sweet time as you forge the next most incredible installment, like the sword of justice and righteousness, and dont let anybody speed you up.

P.S. can you bring back the fat zombies, one of them looks like my math teacher hahahahaha
