What do you do?

As part of the “research” for developing the next Last Stand title (name coming soon), I’m looking to see what you guys would do in the case that you find yourself in the zombie apocalypse. You never know your answers might become part of a storyline within the game. Below is a template for you to fill out in the comments.

1. What supplies do you grab?

2. What weapons do you have around the house?

3. Where do you go first?

4. Who do you contact?

5. Where do you go to escape?

Fill these out and keep the comments to just answers, don’t go commenting on other people’s responses.

Alright, I think that’s about enough. I’m getting tired of reading and approving 40 comments a day. COMMENTS LOCKED.

What supplies do you grab: Solid backpack, useful tools like leatherman and matchboxes, non-perishable food and water, maps!

What weapons do you have around the house: Hatchet, knife. Australia is f*cked if we have a zombie epidemic.

Where do you go first: Stay home and barricade it for the duration. Wait a few days for family and to see if others did the same. If possible, sneak into other properties and search for useful things during the day.

Who do you contact: Immediate family, if I can. Authority figures are out of the question. I expect to be on my own.

Where do you go to escape: Countryside, rural towns. This is the big plot flaw for LS2 personally; why would the govt establish an extraction in Union City, where there would be undoubtedly an exponential zombie population? Safer option is to get away with as much supplies as you can.

1. What supplies do you grab?
I’ll need my laptop (at least at first to keep in touch), my hunting knife, my toolkit, toiletries, some changes of clothing, bottled water, canned food, a pair flashlights, batteries, and of course my harmonicas.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
Hunting knife, tools (crowbar, claw hammer)

3. Where do you go first?
Walgreens. Never hurts to have a few more food items on hand, plus I can pick up things like shampoo and shoelaces.

4. Who do you contact?
My friends. Need to know if they’re safe and have a plan - I am willing to bet I’ve put in a little more thought.

5. Where do you go to escape?
The hell outside of town. Hopefully I can make contact with some buddies and go from there.

I once had elaborate zombie plans with honest to God maps and lists. Over the last 15 years, the plan has become three items long: “Keep in shape,” “keep calm,” and “improvise.”

hmmm.
1. medial supplies, food, clothes, radio, gasoline.
2. chainsaw, guns; 9mm or anything better, knife.
3. somewhere high off the ground.
4. medical physician, doctor, nurse.
5. either out to sea or find someway to get in the air.
(probably wouldn’t get my hands on it but its just an idea; c4 with detonator.)

1: For supplies, I would probably take my first aid kit, something I could amputate a limb with, pain killers (heavy duty and minor types), all the well preserved foods I could manage, our water purifier, and some fuel.

2: Weapons? Well, I’m a Canuck, so I’m nowhere near as well-equipped as some yanks, but I have an airsoft rifle, a bayonet,
a machete, crowbar, and also, there’s a fat guy with a magnum right across the street from me. I doubt I could take it from him, bu he would probably lend me one of his other guns.

3: A native reserve, preferably Cree. They have a tradition of the Wendigo already, so if I was in a more spiritualist area, I would actually be rather safe since they would kill any cannibals on sight. There’s one right near here so I’m already doing great.

4: No one, I am not risking anything. If I can get a hold of a radio I’ll try to connect to the emergency broadcast station but I am not going to get a whole horde of people heading where I was because I ran my mouth off.

5: I escape with some of the natives to a more northern area, and since their culture is built upon hunting (they’re allowed to hunt all year round here), we might actually survive long enough to build a standing settlement.

“1. What supplies do you grab?” A bunch of bottles of water, boxes of food that don’t spoil for a long time, and money (just in case).

“2. What weapons do you have around the house?” No guns, but I’ve got a crowbar and an axe.

“3. Where do you go first?” The High school, than the middle school, which supposedly has a bomb shelter in the basement.

“4. Who do you contact?” Anyone who’s a conservative (guns).

“5. Where do you go to escape?” Probably stay in a thick shelter and avoid running.

1. Food, water, first aid, multi-tool, gasoline.
2. Two pistols, pump shotgun and ammo, hunting rifle and ammo. Plenty of pump/semi auto shotguns so that my friends and any survivors I find can use them.
3. I would probably first head to a local walmart or food store so I can meet up with friends and so we can stock up on food and water. Long journey ahead. I would then take all the survivors in my group and head to the nearest Bass Pro Shop, or hunting shop of your choice. I live in Georgia that place is a haven for all. All my future supplies would be provided there including sleeping material, plenty of blockage and gas tanks, and guns out the kazoo.
4. At first I would try and only contact my family and friends and tell them to meet me at walmart (or convience store of your choice.) After raiding it we would go to a Bass Pro Shop and camp out there. After about a week or so we would start to look for survivors and build up a small army to try and combat the zombies.
5. If the hunting outlet or Bass Pro Shop gets overrun then escape and go to some very lowly populated state like Montana and find some house in a valley or on a Mountain. However I wouldn’t retreat unless it was certain that if I stayed then I would die. Also if I have a decent sized army then I would try and contact the real army and have them help us.

1. knife sharpener, water, canned foods,[[and can-opener, a knife would work but it's gonna break very fast]] batteries, ammo, new clothes if your old ones suck, a bicycle[[no gas needed and can fit through traffic and quiet]] first aid, black spray paint, ducktape[[serves multiple purposes]], leather gloves, handheld radio, headfones[[mp3 player might help you stay sane, zombie moans all day can break a person]], flashlight[preferably red light],
2. glock, axe, knife, poker stick, hammer, golf club. shotgun if i was a redneck ;3. If you’re lucky you might get a sword in a particularly nerdy house.
3. Depending on the stage of the outbreak, i would either rush to get as many friends/family out, and salvage supplies. if its too heavy then i’d just break and get out[see step 5].
4. A resourceful/trustworthy person you may know, family and friends.
5. Out of the city and somewhere isolated with a stable climate [[preferably somewhat dry, with NO fog]], probably near a clean river. [[river=vegetation=food]]. i’d probably look for a 3 story house and bust the stairs up or something.

1. Enough food to last a week or so in my escape to a safer area. After that I can hunt or scavenge for food. Torch, batteries, knife. No clothes or anything that is an unnecesary burden. If I had a motorbike or something I would use that on the FIRST day in order to get out of the immediate area as quick as possible.

2. No knives, dont do enough damage to zombies. I would grab the family hunting rifle and shotgun (trade em in later for any better guns I find), plenty of ammo. I would not grab a chainsaw (as much as I would like to) because it is too heavy to lug around.

3. I get out of the immediate area as quick as possible and head for the country. After several hours of rapid escape, I would head into the nearest small town and grab a ute, tons of long-life food, tons of ammo and clothes and anything else that catches my eye. Then I drive to the most remote place in Australia and stop off at the first building/cave I see and settle down for a long time.

4. I contact my immediate friends, no one who will slow me down or burden me or who pisses me off. (Unfair but necessary) 4 people maximum. 1 of whom is a hot chick.

5. I head to the most remote area in Australia and find a nice abandoned house or cave to settle down in. Every day I would head out and grab whatever supplies I need to make a long trip. If there is one lying about, I grab a big truck (cement mixer or the like), or else, just a vehicle with plenty of room. After a month or so, I head to the coast. Cautiously unload my gear onto a big boat (during the day obviously) and head out towards the clump of pacific islands. Find the smallest, most secluded yet most comfortable one I can see and abandon ship there. Once there, I have enough supplies to last me at least a year (and hoepfully get settled in by then). Build a hut or house whatever and make the island my home. There better be animals there to eat or else I switch island, each time making sure there are no people there.

this basically lists what i would do as the average joe.
1. canned food and other long term foods, things like a flashlights, batteries, first aid supplies, something loud and flashy that could be thrown to divert attention like a battery powered alarm clock with big LED lights
2. What weapons do you have around the house? no actual guns, so id have to improvise weapons like a baseball bat, a few makeshift spears made with broom sticks and knives or something along those lines(that would be nice to see in the next last stand game) and a nail gun.

3. id start by looking at places where people would go to get supplies, not the mall( too cliche and everyone else would try that) somewhere like a supermarket or the nerdist place possible( as nerds seem to survive this kind of stuff) like the electronics store.

4. Anyone, as in reality, people arent really going to try to fuck each other over like in the movies or games too often.

5. An island, because as cliche as it sounds, eventually every zombie would be able to be killed, and it would be safe afterwords.

1. What supplies do you grab?
Some tins of baked beans and stuff like that, dried anything. Bottles of water. Chocolate for quick energy (energy drinks just make you think you have more energy)

Find out where my Karate Sensei lives and go there (he has swords)

5. Where do you go to escape?
Well, a deserted island is the easy choice… Probably my grandparents’ house. It’s on a steep hill and out of town by a long way.
There is an army base nearby, but lots of people (and infected people) would go there and spread the infection.

In case of supplies, I would pick Three days worth of food and water (preferably canned food and bottled water)

And the weapons I would pick that I have in my house ? well, that would have to be an axe, a crowbar and a couple of knives for last resort.

The first place I would go is my closest friends house and see if he is still there, and alive. If he is I would bring him along (but never bring more than five people, that could be dangerous). After that I would go to the nearest mall, because dispite what everyone says, malls are the best places to survive a zombie invasion.

1.) Tins of food, bottles of clean drinking water, petrol, warm clothing, first aid kits, easily movable storage (i.e. bags, small chests etc.), ammunition, whet stones for edge upkeep.

2.)Kinves, Hand Axes/Felling Axes (for firewood and defense), A gun if possible, a rifle if possible, enough booze to make some flamable traps if needed.

3.) Anywhere thats acessable only via 1 route, perhaps a rooftop after blocking/destroying the stairs, or a basement with no windows and a very heavy, secure door.

4.) First off try to contact the authorities, to get plans and escape routes sorted etc, then contact the family with this info and try to sort out an escape route and a contact point.

5.) I would escape to anywhere thats remote. Somewhere that is far enough away from large pockets of potential zombie infestation, so an island would be prefferable, but if not a mountain retreat, an underground Nuclear bunker etc.

I Mostly agree with Archaeron, but with no.5, i would recommend maybe doing a few bad places before you reach your final hold up. By this i mean places that would be hotspots for zombie infestation but people would first off think would be a good place to go. These places would include hospitals, police/fire stations, churches and even commercial places such as supermarkets. This would create great survival gameplay as they would be hordes of zombies to take care of, and at the same time you could gather much needed supplies to survive in the final hold up (guns from the police station, melee axes from fire station, first aid kits from hospital, food/supplies from supermarket).

I also think there should not be unlimited ammo in this game, so you actually have to be economic with it and find some on your way.

1. Canned food and quick noodles , compact food that doesn’t spoil.

2. Kitchen knives and an airsoft gun ))

3. I live in an apartment building, as long as the zombies can’t climb walls like in ‘I Am Legend’ , I’m pretty much good.

4. Family members that live in other cities and friends that live nearby.

5. I’ll probably stay in my house , but if supplies run low I guess I’ll loot supermarkets and try to locate where all the survivors have been moved.

1.water,food,a working radio, first aid, balistic knife, swiss army knife, clothes, amunition ,flint stick

2.1 shot gun, 5 rifles, 3 revolvers,1 magnum,1 flaregun

3.i stay at my house, its built into a hill so its partly underground, we also have a “safe room” that has walls made of metal and a 4″ metal door with 2 deadbolts, but i also raid the military armory thats near my house, has like 5 personel , and alot of good wepons and amunition

4. family, freinds, and people who could be “potentionly helpful”

5. stay at home and listen to radio for any military, survivor, or any hopeful chances for survival

1. I’d grab a big backpack and put clothes, batteries, a laptop, canned food, medical supplies, some tools, petrol, a map, ammunition and some flares. On my person I’d carry bottled water, a phone, matches, a torch, a watch, a compass, a whistle, some ammunition. That’s the essential stuff anyway, if I had any room spare and I could easily carry more stuff (Like say I had a car or something), I’d probably pack some books, an iPod, weed, beer, a gameboy, condoms, ect.

2. I’m an accomplished martial artist, but melee combat seems like a poor MO in the event of a zombie apocalypse. Con, you’re a Melbournian right? You know that we don’t generally have weapons lying around the house… All I’ve got is a few knives, a homemade laser and a couple of homemade fireworks which (Unintentionally) really wound up more like explosives. None of that stuff would make a good permanent weapon, so I’d probably have to go a police station or something and get some guns.

3. I’d establish a meeting point with the people I’m escaping with, probably somewhere near the docks, for reasons I’ll explain later. Then I’d go get all the supplies I mentioned earlier from the local shops or wherever.

4. My 5 best mates (We’re all mutual best mates so they’d all probably contact me first), my Girlfriend, my parents, my Sister and my Grampa. I’d escape with those people too. (Mind you, the thought occurs that they’d bring all their families as well, so we’d probably wind up with a lot more people than I originally planned).

5. Probably Tasmania… I’ve always loathed the place and Bass Strait would be a bitch to cross, but once there, there’s plenty of supplies, but a limited number of zombies.

1. fresh and canned food, save the canned food for the road, mabey some astronaut ice cream. First aid kit. Cooking pots and pans. Some ammo. Survival guides, army field manual and zombie survival guide. And my phone and computer. And a backpack to carry all this crap in.

2. Baseball bat, could easily put a nail through it. Then for guns i could probably just go to my redneck neighbors house and take thiers. They are packin some serious heat! And some knives. And all the gas in my garage along with my trust zippo.

3. After creating a party of survivors, i would probably go to bass pro shop, its perfect, clothing on first floor, GUNS ON SECOND!

4. Friends and family

5. bass pro shops, its in a mall, so there will be food. That and the fact that theres ATVs and dirtbikes

1. Hard clothes (jacket, gloves… to avoid beeing infected while fighting!), backpack, food, water, maps…)
2. anything like a long manual weapon (katana, an old pipe… for ammo saving!)
3. First, to a supermarket and/or a shopping center.
4. Police, Army, Newspapers and finaly my family, to hear and tell about new and information.
5. Second, to a high building (after finding myself a parachute or something like that, just in case I find myself traped on the rooftop!)

1. Stash of dry food, bottled water, toilet paper, cash, matches, candles, debit card passport.

2. I’m in Guangdong, Mainland China (ecch). Just knives, a claw hammer… and maybe glass bottles and rags which I can use for Molotov cocktails once I find gasoline, Chinese rice wine, or other fuel.

3. Stay in the apartment while supplies last until I contact my English speaking buddies in my housing compound.

4. My church friends (pray like crazy!) and if the phones still work, my folks back in the USA, to book the nearest ticket home.

5. The nearest airport that’s not overrun. If that means I have to jump the fence into Hong Kong, well, so be it. Taking a boat’s a thought, too.

Dear Connolly,

Your question would be best answered by checking out http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.org; Hundreds of people have already answered this question as well as pretty much every other zombie question one could think of.

Thanks Rossolina, but I wanted to get a gauge on what the fans of the series would do.

1. Food that stays good for long, clothes, something for fire, tools, flashlight, knives and water.
2. Knives, tools(hammers etc.), BB Gun, heavy stuff.
3. Lock the place up tight so nothing can get in unless I want to or a military base or so.
4. Family and police for information what to do.
5. In a mall and lock it up so you have plenty of food or a base with lots of firepower like a military base or a big oil platform in the sea.

1.Bottled water, durable food, flash light, cell phone, first aid kit, backpack for storage, city master key. Maybe even fuel of some sort and a lighter so when you have drank your water, you can make a molotov cocktail with the bottle, a piece of clothing, the fuel and the lighter.

2.Handgun (perhaps infinite ammo??), baseball bat, knives, pepper spray, axe, etc.

3.You live in the countryside so need to make your way to the inner city. Your main destination is the shipyard as your only hope is to get off the land by boat (zombies don’t make good swimmers). Along the way to the city, you first need to escape your cottage, you may encounter a gas station, mine, woods, etc, along the way.

4.Your girlfriend who lives in the city and your perhaps your daughter who is at the city university. You obviously try to contact the police, army, whoever but you get no response. You leave notes and messages where you can just incase other survivors find them and you can let them know you are making your way to the shipyard.

5.As I said before, the SHIPYARD will be your final destination. Your only hope is to get off land where you will be safe and HOPE that infestation is confined to just your Country……..

1. What supplies do you grab?

Minimal camping supplies in a manageable backpack - multitool, calorie dense non-perishable food, water purifier, water, sleeping bag, heavy leather boots, heavy maglight (doubles as a weapon) + batteries, first aid kit, painkiller, matches/lighter. Mountain bike + small portable pump and repair kit, replacement tubes, etc. Jeep. Survival radio, compass.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?

Not much. Assortment of tools and sporting goods - Axe, baseball bat, hockey stick, sledgehammer, heavy shovel, hammer.

3. Where do you go first?

Outdoor supply store/Gun store for better weapons, anything above that I didn’t have at home. After stocking up on supplies and gathering family/close friends I would head out to somewhere remote.

4. Who do you contact?

Family, friends, anyone locally that I could rely on.

5. Where do you go to escape?

Remote areas, farmland, small towns. Somewhere you could reinforce and wait it out.

1. What supplies do you grab?-Backpack, Swiss Army Knife, Canned food, Bottled water, Trench knife, Axe, and First aid kit.

2. What weapons do you have around the
house?-2 rifles and 1 pistol.

3. Where do you go first?-Search the town for food and good transportation, I would prefer a truck and i would stock up on food and gas.

4. Who do you contact?- People that i know that have been preparing for a zombie out break.

5. Where do you go to escape?-I would head north, Because zombies cant travel through snow and the cold causes them to freeze, and collect more food and gas. Eventually I would hit Canada and head west to Alaska. I would then locate a large ship and sail to Russia.

1. What supplies do you grab?

*Small shake-to-power torch - not bright enough to attract too much attention, allows visibility at night.
*Chocolate bars for sugar, bread and jam for carbs and long-term energy.
*Swiss army knife
*4m coil of Ethernet wire - lightweight, compact, strong. Could be used for a rescue, or as a tripwire-style trap.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?

*Small, lightweight 3-inch non-serrated kitchen knife if the zombies get too close.
*Crowbar - heavy enough to be an effective weapon, can also be used for opening locked doors. Can swing with the curved end for smashed skull, or thrust through the eye socket.
*Self-propelling petrol lawnmower - I have no idea why you’d use this. Maybe like a guillotine at head height? Use the petrol for a bomb?

3. Where do you go first?

*Find some friends - co-operation will be vital.
*Gun shop in nearby village - the front will be full of people looking for weapons but with a little luck the back will be accessible with the help of the crowbar.
*Back to a friend’s house - defensible with a sturdy reinforced 2m fence, not great but good enough as a deterrent.

4. Who do you contact?

Anyone I can. Everyone I know. Tell them to come to where I am, that we need to stick together.

5. Where do you go to escape?

Hide out for a two or three weeks to let things calm down, then to a nearby airfield. Lots of light aircraft are there and I’m qualified to fly.

1. What supplies do you grab?
Canned food, medical supplies, camping supplies, walkie-talkies (for communication with other survivors), any type of vehicle (4X4 diesel truck is most perferable), gas and/or diesel.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
2 shotguns (both pump action), 3 rifles (all just the regular hunting rifles), 1 single-shot musket, and a 3-foot long machety.

3. Where do you go first?
Find my family to see if they are OK, then to my cousin’s house (to see if he is OK), he has a MASSIVE amount of guns. Then to the town close by to see who else is alive has weapons and needs help.

4. Who do you contact?
Police (if they are alive), if not, contant other towns to see if anyone needs help or they have information of where to go.

5. Where do you go to escape?
A flat place or a hill where you can see for miles (along with a fort). That way survivors can see you a long way away or you can kill zombies at long range… if zombies do happen to invade the fort drive to closest river where a big boat with all the supplies and survivors are ready, then just boat away…
(All of these things are fairly close around my place.)

i would grab a cellphone, laptop maybe, and radio too keep in contact with others far away for updates on the disease. of course no perishables and water lots of water.

i don’t really have any sufficient weapons but whatever i can find thats can deliver a hard hit to the head. (parts of toilets or sinks, pieces of wood, baseball bat, or frying pan.

definitely stay at my house for a bit in the beginning maybe go to a small store with things i need not a big store (big store = lots of zombies)

as said earlier the radio and laptop for updates so anyone who provides those and friends that live near by that can help to my survival.

try to head North after awhile (north because i am in the northern hemisphere) and try to get to a cold region (Canada for me) because zombies generally aren’t able to go in cold areas if we are talking about the classic zombie

1. MREs, ramen noodle packs, cans of spam, mozzarella sticks, water bottles. Put this in a large backpack.

I also have w.e I have is on me, my zippo, cellphone (probably non-functional), wallet, and keys.

2. Currently, the only weapon I have of choice is my Katana. Razor sharp, standard sori and kissaki, with a moderately high shinogi.

I’d love to have a Howard Clark daisho pair 28 inch katana and 19 inch wakizashi, both in Hira Zukuri, and with moderate soris.

I’d like a 22 inch Kel-Tec RFB, with gain-twist rifling and extended upper rail, mounted with a 6x ACOG and red dot mounted on top. In front of the ACOG i’d like to mount a flat top laser.

3. I live in an 2 family house. The front side is impermeable by undead, steel exterior barred door, steel barred windows, metal door behind the ’sunscreen’ like door.

I would first get everyone that I loved, as most of my friends are unprepared for any sort of emergency. We would hole up for about 2 weeks or so, unless we had the residence of my dreams. (solid concrete and steel construction, sliding reinforced steel shutters, blast doors, deep pile carpeting, indirect lighting, luxuriously furnished, and 2 decades of food & water)

4. first, my other friends that are preparing. then my most loved ones.

5. If we have the residence of my dreams, we have all the time needed to plan and prepare for escape. We would hopefully have an retreat somewhere in the countryside.

Unrealistically, we would have a nuclear missile silo turned into luxury bunker, with a castle on top. Yes, a castle.

I’d quickly get my school backpack, fill it with canned food, a can opener, bottled water and knives, and get the hell out of there. I’d try to get my friends and I to one f the giant mansions in my city. We’d raid the local Wal-Mart for guns, and barricade the door. I’d use my dad’s axe and antique picthfork as weapons, and use the car as my main defense. Think about it- a car would do a lot more good than a baseball bat. If possible, I’d get some sort of semi automatic and automatic selctive fire scoped weapon for all of my needs. If I needed to escape, I’d canoe to a small abandoned community called Stiltsville, in the middle of the freaking ocean. But, before all of that, I’d contact my family and th government, just to keep them in the now. As a last resort, I’d try to keep an explosive on me at all times to kill myself, and the zombies, if I become infected.

1. Quick foods such like chips, bars or beef jerkies. I also take the first aid kit for some emergency.

2. Close combat weapons. Such like imitated sword(or katana) for my sword practicing.

3. I live in the town and every house have their own basement. If zombies are attack then I go to the basement, close every window and block the stair case. Stair case is only way to access upstairs.

4. Check my families first of course then my friend who live nearby. He is actually good at use guns and has some airguns at his home.

5. Stay at the basement for a while and make plan then go outside to escape.
I guess escape to island will be good idea, because I’m sure zombies are cannot swim and if they do, I’ll have plenty of time to make barricade or hiding place. Before I leave to the island, I’ll take the plenty of crops so I can raise the crops to get the rice and mills to make the food.

1. Supplies…hmmm. Basic survival gear, a flashlight in particular (don’t want any surprises in dark places), whatever food I can reasonably carry (lots of food everywhere now that humanity is zombiefied, so no need to hoard, particularly if I’m trying to get somewhere).

2. Weapons. A baseball bat and a pistol. I’d then rebuild my inventory as better stuff becomes available.

3. First Stop. I’d probably scope out a gas station and a pawn shop. gas station=easy supplies and relatively low potential zombie encounters. pawn shop=fairly secure building with probable availability of weapons and ammo.

4. Contact. Family would be most obvious.

5. Destination. Mountains, definitely. Low pop density, slow spread of disease (so more survivors), and difficulty of terrain makes for relative safety.

Hey! So there is a fellow zomboligist!

1. What supplies do you grab?
All the cans I can; if I have time I get all the cans in the van. Also all the blankets, pillows and such, so I don’t get uncomfortable. Lastly a good supply of games, and any container I can find I’ll fill with water.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
Little to none; knives are about it. After all, I live in Canada. :) But, I might be able to get more weapons from fellow neighbors, for I live in a apartment. So I’d be relying on other people for my survival.

3. Where do you go first?
The mall across the street. It’s very unlikely, but assuming I don’t find anyone in the condo that has firearms then I’ll need to go to the shooting range for some. It will be very dangerous, as I don’t have any real weapons (knives) and that will be a source of chaos. If I manage to get a gun and some ammunitions, it would have been worth it.

4. Who do you contact?
Everyone within the condo. If my parent is out, then I won’t go and try to find them. I’ll call a few times, yes, but if I don’t get an answer, then leave them be.

5. Where do you go to escape?
To the “safe zone”. If there is no designated one, then I head for downtown, and I head into one of the skyscrapers to go to the higher floors. I’ll go into one that isn’t already overrun by zombies. I’ll destroy the stairs, turn off the elevator and cut the cable. Of course, with all the other people I manage to drag around.

Hopefully that is sufficient.

1. What supplies do you grab?
Immidiately at the outbreak, I would grab a weapon of some sort. It probably won’t be a gun (no access) but more improvised things like a camping axe, a baseball, a brick, etc…

I would stay the hell out of Walmart, the local hunting store, grocery stores, and conviniences in the early days while people are sill alive; just youtube Black Friday in the USA, but imagine zombies. You would be crushed, shot, bludgeoned, or trampled to death if zombies don’t get there first.

After I managed to survive the first moments of the outbreak and begin to think long-term, fresh water would be the number one priority. You can function for 2 weeks without food. You die in 3 days without water. That being said, food would be second priority. Guns could be scavenged in houses (only in US, probably). Now that there is no livingpeople (or very few people) in the streets, This would now be the time to raid stores to see if anything survived the mad grab in the first days of the outbreak.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
No guns in the house (gun ownership isn’t prevalent where I live) but we have a lot of camping/construction equipment in the garage that could be used as a weapon. For a list: baseball bat (wood and aluminum), a long-handled axe, a long-handled steel crowbar, kitchen knifes, and frying pans.

3. Where do you go first?
First, I would get out of the street and into a house. The noise and panic in the streets willkeep the zombies distracted and possibilities of them coming into the house is drastically smaller than if I were out and about in the streets. Not to mentioned you might get shot by people who panic and has guns.

After a few days, when the panic dies down due to deaths, I would gather everything in that house and get out. I would go to fortifiable places like a solid brick house or small apartments. Never police HQ, hospital, schools, etc… where other people would have run to during the initial infection. The chaos on the streets would probably draw the zombies out into teh streets, so I expect there won’t be too many zombies in an apartment.

Staying in the city is the best, especially if there are other towns nearby, as a lot of the zombies would leave the city and go there to feed, leaving the city somewhat zombie-free. Besides, I don’t know jack about wilderness training–might as well die in a city by a zombie then by eating poisoned berries or starving to death.

4. Who do you contact?
my immidiate family. I would arrange meet them in a week, somewhere I would guess would be zombie-free in a week. Probably the source of the infection, since the zombies would filter away from there to other areas in search of food.

5. Where do you go to escape?
I wouldn’t know where to go, so I would stay and conserve my energy. I would try to get a radio and monitor the channels to see if there are any announcements at least a week after the infection. (The early ’safe zones’ will probably be overrun.)

If I had to escape the city, I would walk. The streets would be way too crowded with abandoned cars, trains wouldn’t run, and airplanes… I don’t know how to fly tem, if there are any left at tehairport–unlikely. Best would be leaving by a motorized paddle boat, since I could at least paddle if the gas runs out.

Thanks for reading, Con. I tried to be as helpful and descriptive as possible.

Thanks for developing one of my favourite zombie games ever.

Cheers.

3.) I live in the Country, so I would head into town, check the police station for arms, and do a quick sweep for any survivors. After that, I would head into a large city that’s an hour drive away. There I would set up shop in a Mall or Cabela’s.

1st: Home is my fortress…head home and prepare to barricade house and plan escape routs.
2nd: school (familiar & easy to defend). Only for extreme circumstances for sudden mass out breaks. My school is tooo easy to defend.
3nd: a very small hospital in a large open field near a highway (sounds crazy but it has supplies, easy to defend and easy to clear out, also near possible escape route and is in the country so it won’t be jammed.)
4. Immediate family, then friends. I would first check the immediate location of my friends that I can depend on and worry about skills later (we’re all quite intelligent, so reliability and how easy I get along with them is hands down my main concern) I would only approach military personnel AFTER close observation to see that they aren’t trying a cover-up (if they were they would kill you). Local police would be a plus, if they weren’t taken out in the first wave of zombies that is.
5. For me long-term survival areas would include mountains, large lakes (on a good-sized boat), National Parks, places that aren’t HOT…so I’ll probably head north…Iceland would be a great place, because they’re isolated and their entire nation is run on geothermal, so its energy independent.

Contrary to popular belief, Australia is a terrible place to repopulate the Earth from… if you think about it, it has some of the worst droughts, strange/unpredictable weather, large portions of it are deserts…no offense to Australians, it’s a great country and all, but as a place of survival (except for the developed areas, the pinch of forests, the coast and the south) its really more of a test than it is an idea place to relocate under harsh circumstances.
Canada would really be the most ideal place…its has lots of water, wildlife, and trees…it also isn’t heavily populated as you head north, so you can really start a new up there as long as you build proper dwellings!

Really sorry for this, but I forgot to mention this in my post (53) for question 2:
I have some beer bottles, could fill them with gasoline or diesel (or other flamable liquids) to make some molotov’s (a.k.a Flame Cocktail)…

1 A dozen or so cans of soup, a case of insant noodles ( just add hot water! :D)
2. 12. gauge PUMP shotgun
3 Cabin up in the rocky mountains Aprox 2500 people.
4Family, and the place where to meet^
5Cabin in the mountains where most people will have guns or survive, try and get radio contact and link everyone up and try to help coordinate tasks ( food, wood, fishing, attacks)

Yeah, I’m kinda after what people actually have laying around. Not fantasy land like these idiots who have AK-47’s and pipebombs laying around.

1.okay for supplies i wouldnt grab anything because all that i have is at my house and i will probably start out in my house but if i was forced to leave i would take a fairly decent melee weapon with long range a backpack with rope matches canned food bottled water (because i dont know how far the desiese can go with food or water).
2. now for the types of weapons around the house depends entirely on what type of person lives in that house a animal hunter will have many guns but all legel guns so many will probably not be that good but for a regalur person they will have a baseball bat a couple of big kitchen knives maybe a chainsaw or any sort of gun.
3. I personally would do my best to barracaid all the doors and windows in my house because i have food water i know where all the exits are and it might be a while before i get any news about the outside after i made a fairly secure base i would try to loot nieghbors, gas stations any place relativly close to my house during the day and maybe a mall for great amount of supplies even though the place might be heavily dense with the infected
4. the people i would contact is friends and family to try and see if i could build a little resistence and because when worse comes to worse i could be able to trust them and they wont leave me high and dry just when it gets ugly just like many random people might do. maybe the police station to find any help that has some experience with firearms.
5. im not sure where i would go i would wait for some news about the outside world and if there are any safe sanctuaries or a big heavily armed outpost nearby.
i hoped i help you out a little con artist

3. My High School Attict that you have a ladder with a small opening that shuts from the top and isn’t next to anything and contains food and a sink which i would fill up

4. Any of my friends tell them to meet me there.

5. If anything I’d try to fight through the core of the zombies but I’d probably fail.

GARROW GEER
 84

1) Grab food that will nourish and not expire: Protein Powder, Nutrition Bars, Freeze-Dried Astronaut Food. Then I’d bring a portable water-purifier, and a SUPER THICK SNOW COAT TO PROTECT FROM ZOMBIE BITES. Also a WELDER and a GENERATOR for improvised construction to weld metal sheets onto windows and doors for protection from zombies. And a portable radio transmitter.

2) Weapons I’d get from around the house: Nail Gun, Garden Machete, Welder, Molotov Cocktails, Kitchen Knives, Chlorine Bombs, Barbed Wire, and Potassium Nitrate Explosive Powder (can be made from Instant-Freeze packs and fertilizer chemical extracts found in the house).

3) First, I would go to Big 5 or the local gun store and get some weapons. Then I would hotwire a big Semi-Truck and use it as a portable home. I would also armor it with metal plates I would weld onto it, along with spikes, barbed wire, and anything to protect it. I would use the Semi-Truck to go to a port and get a boat to go to an island that I would cleanse of zombies (with help from survivors I picked up along the way).

4) I would use my radio transmitter to communicate with survivors and find out what places are safe. I would also try to contact the army, police, or any armed militia from whom I could seek refuge.

5) I would try to get to an island small enough be able to exterminate zombies. I would try to find any survivor communities, or I’d try to start my own, and go around searching for recruits. I’d try to build an army of survivors with enough man power to exterminate a city, island, or any potential fortification.

Pistol and 12 gauage

My highschool library only has 2 entrances and has a place where you can look down at main entrance

Friends that have guns

Camp out at library and when we accumulate enough supplies we head to an airfield not too far away and fight our way to a plane and fly off to uninfected area

1. I would grab a light pack and stuff in; Medical supplies for broken bones, money just in case, and alcohol rub.

2. A smooth sharp knife due to the fact my home would usually not have assault rifles like some of these people.

3. I may not know where to go but I do know where NOT to go. These include the hospital, a friends house for protection, anywhere a legally insane person would hide.

4. I would try to contact a military official to let them now I am alive and give them my location. My family to be sure they too are alive, and maybe the police.

5. I would try to just leave the U.S. generally, if it’s not that bad I might just travel a few states for security.

Everyone should remember that if on a scale of 1-5 of outbreak in your area (1 being the beginning of the outbreak with few zombies to 5 being you’re shit out of luck). If it is a one try to “lie” to the police saying you’re “zombie” is a deranged man that thinks he needs to feed this way and he is a cannibal who just tried to kill you. This way unexpected police deaths won’t be as much. If you say he IS a zombie, the police officer will think you’re full of it.

1. Water, gasoline(small bottle), liter(zippo), tender, flare(for helicopters), camo, food maybe canned and a camera and bipod to document my survival so after im eaten other survivers would know what i went through.

2. Knife, lawnmoer, chainsaw, axe, cooking grill, propane, 44 magnum(i dont own one but i know someone that does), m1911, katana…oh yeah.

3. Highest elevated area like a hill or a roof before i decide where to go or what to do.

4. Maybe some of my southern friends they would be willing to fight and my life insurance guy.

5. From Arizona to florida i could meet some of my southern friends and i know a guy from Texas who would help me and then i would find a boat and live on it 2 miles out from the mainland and come to the shore until i need supplies.

Oh and enjoy reading all the responses, Con.

1: Medical supplies, food, water.
2: the biggest knife i can find, and another big knife so i can duel them, long hard object
3: Nearest weapon store, if theres not any nearby then to walmart or the PD
4: Police, military or Family/friends
5: Nearest place with a boat. NEVER CHOOSE ANYTHING THAT FLY’S IF POSSIBLE. The pilot could be infected, you crash and die. a car would be ok, but you would need fuel. boat: epic win. big, lots of room for storing, if the driver is infected shoot him/her and drive it yourself, just like driving a car. my choise of guns would be: ak47 or m16, any modern military weapons will work, shotgun, auto shotgun, deagle or USP maybe glocks, for pistols duals for sure.

1. I would grab a canteen, water filter, basic first aid kit, and lasting foods such as canned goods.
2. Pump action 35 Remington, hunting knife, crowbar, collapsable crossbow, S&W .357 revolver, and plenty o’ ammunition for all firearms/bow. Oh I just remembered my dads old heavy all American baseball bat with stars and stripes all over it haha.
3. First I would try and hold off in my grandparents across the road’s upper floor with the stairs destroyed or the silo up at our farm until things got better. If things weren’t getting better I would build up supplies and probably try to make it to the Appalachains since I live in western Pennsylvania and the cold could freeze the zombies.
4. I would contact other survivors for news on the outbreak or to help them. I would probably try to get information on the nearest “safe” zone also.
5. To escape, it would be best to go through the rural parts seeing zombies will be attracted to the chaos of cities.
I hope this information helps but it all comes down to personal prefferance and everyday skills. I am a farmer which means you learn to be self sufficient and survival skills come easy. If you were someone from a city like an average office worker you’d have a much more difficult time.

1: Aside from the usual food water ectra, A heavy duty flashlight and my leather trenchcoat with some extra padding (going to be cold where i escape to)

2: Crowbar and Beretta 9mm

3: train station to hijack a train (Im not kidding)

4: All my fellow Zombie enthusiasts.

5: Head north as far as the trainline can take me. Once I hit somewhere like yellow knife, I’ll keep heading North until I find a good place to settle. My reasoning is that zombies lacking body heat will freeze like corksicles if they come to far up into the arctic. After that its all living with the Eskimos till old age.

1. What supplies do you grab?
Load up my car with our hurricane supplies (live in florida, we keep at least two very large boxes stocked at all times)
2. What weapons do you have around the house?
A very large and fully stocked gun safe. Fully equipped with 2 scout rifles, AR 15, M16, several pistols, and a hunting bow. Assortment of knives
3. Where do you go first?
My girls house to pick her up, then head towards our local airforce base (if not overrun already)
4. Who do you contact?
Military. military. military. by this time in real life martial law would already be in effect.
5. Where do you go to escape?
If local base has been overrun then I would have to say go to the loading docks and hop aboard a barge (filled with the supplies of course) and use my rudimentary boating skills to drop anchor maybe a mile offshore (with the coast still insight of course)

1. Non perishible food items, aspirin/any pain relievers or medical supplies.

2. Hmm, nothing really HERE, but I’d grab a few bats.

3. There’s a pizza place a few blocks from my home, me and my friends planned on heading there, there’s only one main entrance, it’d be stocked with food, and very open. It also is near a furniture store which we could use for barricades. It’s located near a train track so if there was some sort of EVAC train, it’d be easy to hitch a ride. Plus the land I live in is extremely flat. Good for zombie sniping. ;)

4. Friends whom I made the plan with. Direct relatives. Police to see if they’re still active…see how bad it really is.

5. We’d ditch to the back to either an elementary school nearby, or go to the highschool football stadium, set up a makeshift out post on the stands of the stadium….have a good vantage point.

2. No guns, but a large cleaver, deodorant cans and lighters, and couple portable power tools.

3. Airfield about 10 miles away, close to a National Guard Armory, and is capable of launching small aircraft, without the backup of the airport, but still open to the public.

4. Anyone of use, including friends, family, associates, possibly authorities.

5. Stay at the airfield. Smaller, privately owned. Has a complement of functioning small planes in addition to some wartime relics.

1. What supplies do you grab?
Wetsuit (you can’t bite or claw through one as a human), weapon with best magazine size (reloading is generally your downfall), anything to do with growing crops (see below).

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
Kitchen Knives, Chainsaw, Lawnmower, Pitchfork, Hoe, Hammer, Shovel, Bat.

3. Where do you go first?
To general stores, hardware stores, supply stores. Gathering anything else I need.

4. Who do you contact?
Nobody, in the end, the downfall of most people during a Zombie apocalypse is turning on each other, causing a compromise in defense or security.

5. Where do you go to escape?
To escape from the apocalypse, I would choose a high-rise. Based on the last stand zombies (aka the classic zombie), they seem have trouble with large obstacles. By placing rubble on the stairs for the first few floors, they will more then likely never reach the few floors I would live in. Seeds, Fertilser, etc, will all be used in creating a vertical farm in order to sustain me until the apocalypse is over, or until I die when I choose (and not when the zombies want).

I’ve thought long and hard about this… I’m prepared.

1. What supplies are you taking? I’d take a backpack and walk to nouriture Light

2. What weapons do you have around the house? Of a gun detector movement projector, the cache with weapons and ammunition, rifles, shootgun, gun etc. … a barricade Electrifying 2 m high, a viewpoint

3. Where are you first? Join my family and of trying to go to a military base.

4. Who do you contact? I launch a call for surviving a radio and give a place to return.

5. Where will you escape? Join a coastal town or a point of extraction given by the authority.

Idea: I council to consider the stress and fatigue would give her more difficult to play a barricade will be more upgradable to add defense on the house or we go, Vista the power house in search of food, weapons, survivor, ammunition

Ok, first my idea is that on the boat leaving union city, there is an outbreak of zombies and the zombies take over the boat, you and some other survivers are the only people left on the ship. maybe the ship could crash into an island full of zombies, dont know, just an idea.

Supplies: .357 six-shot w/ammo, anitue kar98k grandpa keeps downstairs, Bow/arrows, canned food, car w/clutch, gasoline, a few spare wood planks and tin sheets, lighter, bottled water, books, cleets, a few long knives, shovel, axe, monkey wrench, power drill w/several heads, sledgehammer, nails, cellphone, an extra car battery, ninja star in bedroom, and a working universal radio(radio that can recieve and broadcast over short distances.)

Weapons: As Sharpkane said, everything is a weapon. E.g. There are an average 1337 items in the normal living room that Chuck Norris could kill you with.

Contacts: I would contact the family first then contact whoever owned the nearest weaponry store, tell him to board up the place.

First stop: I would collect whoever among my family was alive.

Last Stop: Head to the gun store. With my extra supplies I would board up the place, and hold up. There would have to be a working exit so we could raid the nearest general store.

Also, Be prepared to head out quickly and don’t stop if the hideout goes to sh*t. As extinction has taught me, if you stay in one place to long, they will come and they will kill you.

1) food-water, medical, tools to build up my barricade. all things useful (including clothes, think that the smell will be awful any way).

2) Two-handed fire axe, machete. People! Stay away of knifes! nothing that makes you stay near the freakin zombie!

3) grosery and weapon store. Not the mall think that could be a dead end.

4) family and friends (no so clever but…)

5) rural area, near a river to build a fort.

1. What supplies do you grab?
MRE’s. They’ve got everything, and they never spoil, don’t need to be heated (though they have heaters that only use water if you want). Also, medical. First thing I’d raid is a pharmacy (pills and first aid supplies) then be one of the first to get into the actual hospital.

2. What weapons do you have around the house? I have a S&W revolver, colt .45 peace maker, 1882 original 16 shot rifle, and a twelve gauge pump action shotgun

3. Where do you go first? highrise apartment building or skyscraper. Put myself on a mid floor, block the lower floors off with the crap left behind by others, clean out the top, set myself up a nice little nest.

4. Who do you contact? locals, military if they are within range. Keep it quiet though, CB most likely, though you’d have to be careful to shut it off before you slept to make sure it didn’t start going off and alert zombies while you’re out.

5. Where do you go to escape? water, like in dawn of the dead. Head for a small island somewhere, make sure I have plenty of ammo so I can clean out what ever is there.

Supplies: Food, water, camping supplies (portable stoves, tents), weapons, radio

Weapons around the house: Pickaxe, wood axe, pitchfork, hammers, sledgehammers, baseball bat, lots of knives, paintball gun.

Where do I go first: Police or military places, there are several within 20 minutes of where I live.

Who I contact: Family, friends that live in my neighborhood.

I attempt to escape by getting a vehicle and traveling through rural areas towards the sea where I would get a boat.

1. What supplies do you grab? First thing is first, you need to have food and water. First aid is great for helping the injured to keep moving, but it wouldn’t do much against a zombie bite. Get some padded clothing, flak jacket, thermals with a metal mesh underlay, riot helmet, any kind of clothing that would temporarily protect you from damage but not too constricting. You don’t want to be fighting zombies in full plate armor. Have a good vehicle for traveling, gas conservation is the biggest concern, as to cut down on stops and potential attacks. SURVIVAL IS KEY! Flashlights, trip wires, motion sensors and explosives would be highly valuable when facing a zombie outbreak. Maps for navigating, or better yet a satellite phone or GPS. Especially the manual energizing self crank ones where every crank of a lever attached to the phone gives you roughly 1 and a half to two minutes of energy. Binoculars for scoping clear terrain (Because knowing is half the battle!)

2. What weapons do you have around the house? I agree with SharpKane above me here on this one, anything can be used as a weapon. I would say the best weapon to have is a glock. You guys had it right the first time on that. High capacity mag, versatile when it comes to ammo, VERY hard to jam, light and puts a lot of damage downrange when used properly. That would be my main go to weapon in the general field of zombie combat. Get a lawnmower blade or one of a similar caliber and drive it into a regular wooden baseball bat. Now you have an axe that doubles as a blunt weapon, if it falls apart, then swing away (Pardon the stupid Signs quote please.) Shotguns… Not much penetration but powerful weapon with a large radius of damage and a lot of punch. Whoever is brave enough to take point in a group faced with a large amount of zombies wants that shotgun for its push back power and flak damage. Backup wants to be pinpoint, so use a high caliber weapon such as an AK47 (Again, very powerful, versatile and reliable weapon.) Oh, if I have one piece of advice on weapons, its this… FUCK SAWED OFF DOUBLE BARRELS! Waste of time and ammo, double or even triple your survivability rate by going with a large pump action 12 gauge with an extended hunting barrel. The smaller the shotgun, the less damage per pellet you have. But back to the original point, I have the tools to make a makeshift spear or rough pike at my place. I also can make a shield and club for closer combat but the pike is the best bet. Distance with an easy decapitating ability.

3. Where do you go first? Weapon shops, storage, hospitals, military instillation (though I don’t think at first the military will be very friendly to john q public seeking refuge. THIS IS A QUARANTINE, STAY CALM AND RETURN TO YOUR HOMES! HELP WILL ARRIVE SHORTLY TO EVACUATE YOU TO SAFETY! I think we all know how long it took the man in the first last stand for evacuation to arrive. Fuck you uncle sam, you have been around so long as an icon that if you were human you would be undead.) Police stations, known drug houses or criminal installations, WALLY WORLD!!1!

4. Who do you contact? Family and friends. Other than that, anyone that seems to be worth their salt. Soldiers, x soldiers, actually anyone with military or paramilitary training. You want smart, tough agile people that wont be squeamish to get there hands dirty. Anyone that doesn’t know what their doing is just a liability. Luckily, most of my friends are either in the military or are praying for a zombie outbreak to take place in their lifetime. Obtain people that are also intelligent and are good with navigating, technology or even survival. Family is the only human emotional attachment that you have no control over who they are. I love my family, but I fear that certain members (Step father, Step mother, Mother, Aunts) would only be a liability. I have two brothers that I predict would survive, and the rest of my immediate family have military training. Including my father, who is a bush man and has over 30 years of training in the medical field. He has spent 15 years as a paramedic and the rest as a respiratory and neural therapist (Thus he has extensive training in practically any medical emergency, be it circulatory, respiratory, etc. etc.) Both of my grandfathers have semi automatic weapons, and I know at least one of them has more than one handgun with plenty of ammo (X marine drill Sergent, served throughout the entire Korean war, seeing much combat.)

5. Where do you go to escape? Somewhere that I can get familiar with the area. My location would have to have multiple exits. I also believe that the higher you get the better, as they tend to be more remote, and its hard for mindless zombies to understand the concept of climbing. Personally, badlands or the needles in South Dakota. Ive visited the area every summer of my life, mainly with family (Favorite vacation spot for my family.) The badlands are close to small easily raidable towns, arid envirement with tall hills. The needles are the same way, exept its a lush rocky forested area, opposed to the sandy desert area of the badlands. Though the towns surrounding that general area of that state are small, they are usually breeding with supplies due to it being a tourist trap (Mt. Rushmore, Mt. Crazy Horse, Sturgis. Nuff said.) There is also so much roadway running through it I can easily drive to either Canada, the east or west coast, or to the Gulf of Mexico. To me, South Dakota spells out the life to me. Plus, if you look around the reservation you can snag some killer chronic, if your into that kinda think ;P. Well, that’s my piece, so peace. 1love.

1: Go for the nearest Bolt Action rifle and a Machete

2: MRE’s Medicine and Bulelts

3: Police Stations will likely be flooded so I’d go for somewhere more remote, like the country.

4: Try to find family but just grab anyone you can and flee with them.

5: Where I go to first would probably be a Police Station just to try to grab some other refugees.

1. Wind-up flashlight, radio, and batteries (yes, there are wind-up batteries); canned food and a cooking pot, multi-tool utility knife; heavy coat and hiking boots; any medical supplies I have on hand; portable UV water purifier; flint and tinder; lightweight tent; duct tape.

2. 9mm handgun, semi-automatic shotgun (Beretta xtrema2), scoped hunting rifle, machete, 2ft long steel screwdriver.

3. First, get OUT of the city immediately. Avoid any place people are likely to congregate (and thus pose a risk): malls, hospitals, police station, churches, schools, etc. Leave it all behind as fast as you can.

4. Contact nearby family/friends/neighbors and group together; inform local law enforcement, the military, and national media.

5. Escape to the mountains. Low population, long range visibility, with plenty of resources for living off the land and making a secure long term encampment.

1. What supplies do you grab?
Canned food, hammer, nails, rucksack, handsaw, blanket, can opener.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
An old pump-action shotgun, and a replica Scottish Claymore.

3. Where do you go first?
Either a department store of some sort, if there hasn’t already been mass looting, somewhere with multiple stories if I’m going to be intown for a while.

4. Who do you contact?
Survivors? XD
Seriously, I’d most likely go for police. 911 is easy enough to dial, and if I’m lucky, zombies haven’t gotten the cruisers/operators yet.

5. Where do you go to escape?
Immediate escape? The next house over, doors/walls have a tendancy to slow others down when put infront of them. Long term? Probably an island somewhere.

3. Where do you go first? — Dicks Sporting goods :D I’d try to grab the rifles and some ammo. And if theres not one near me i’d try to get into a army reserve and steal some guns and ammo.

4. Who do you contact? — People who can fire a gun, the children, and the women.

5. Where do you go to escape? — I’d try to escape to an isolated island like Hawaii or maybe a island in the lakes surrounding Michigan, USA (i live there)

1. Toliet paper(need to stay clean),chips, water, anything you can eat cold or warm.

2. If you believed it would happen you would stock up beforehand. If not,go for whatever you have. I would say what you can throw somewhat accurately. I myself have one hand-to-hand weapon, the samurai sword!

3. I would go to the most desolate empty area and wait it out until they come. Probably the desert.

4. I would contact those who are close to me. Also the opposite gender because, well you know. Also the one with the most weapons is also an ally.

5. If I can escape me and whoever else would go as far away after taking out the zombies that found us.(also includes chance of staying out in the water.) If nothing works a shot through the brain will be a last and final escape.

If you want more recommendations Con I would suggest LostZombies.com

Ok, if this was the WWZ / classical zombie that walks really slow, here’s my response.
1.I would get 40 pounds total of food, water and supplies per person. Also i would bring a hand cranked radio. My trusty composite bow, because unlike guns, its ammo can be used over and over and maybe a set of binoculars so i can see zombies from a distance. and maybe a pocket knife for making arrows and a hammer for tents.
(anything thats personal no one would steal anyways)

2.I have my composite bow, several pocket knives, anything that could be found in a fairly big wood shop / garage (like hammers, knifes, ect. ) several shotguns and rifles.

3. I immediately leave my sub-urban area and head to the plains or the hill lands
by driving my car because ALL THE PLACES THAT PEOPLE LISTED, LIKE MALLS AND GUN STORES AND MILITARY ENCAMPMENTS WILL BE FILLED WITH LOTS OF PEOPLE, which could mean zombies, but remember no one would be to happy to share supplies, and lets just say that zombies don’t shoot and gun store owners and other people do.

4. I get my family, because anyone who says that they wouldn’t bring their family is A. heartless, or B. There family is all dead, or C. You will die due to loneliness and go crazy. (And tell them to go to your location of choice.)

5. Stay in the plains, and if I find anyone, join together if its in the late stages of infection because A. They are smart enough to survive B. they can give us news / updates C. company D. if they have found a abandoned village or safe shelter like a house in the middle of nowhere, we could stay there.

1. I’d bring one of those UV light water cleaning things for fresh water, and a bow and arrow for hunting(reusable arrows, and no gunshot sounds). Oh, and some multitools.
2. Knives, axe, shovel, pans, some people could own a chainsaw, and I happen to own this pole with a blade on the end of it and a second blade running down 4 or 5 inches on the side for tree managing stuff, so that’d be pretty awesome. Maybe a 9mm or .45 would be lying around too. I’d head on over to my local marina and get on a boat. I don’t think zombies can swim. I’d bring my closest friends and family. I’d sail down to the Caribbean and make one of those islands my own.

1) Backpack with wind-up flashlight, foodstuffs, maps.
2) I got a crapload of martial arts weapons on display at my house.
3) A convenience store. Not only does it have lots of food, but it would also make a good emergency bunker, as it only has one entrance/exit.
4) My closest friends/people I know with guns(as they will soon becomes friends out of necessity).
5) Make a mad dash for the coast. Steal a boat and hold out for a while close to the coast, send raiding parties out if supplies are needed.

1.First Aid, Food + bottled water and an axe in case i need to break down some locked doors/boarded up windows and a radio

2.Machete, take any firearm i can get my hands on but i prefer a G3 rifle and i live near a rural district so there’s bound to be some hunting rifles shotguns lying around.

3.I would travel through nearby towns suburbs and collect as much guns and ammo as i could and head for my school as the multipurpose sports room has Metal Grates on the outside of 1.5 inch thick glass and it carries lots of sports equipment like javelins and bows. (i really put a lot of thought into this one lol.)

4.I would immediately bring my faithful best friend… my dog and my gun nut of a friend so i have some one to cover my back which will be important in case you get ambushed by some zombies while looking for supplies.

5.I know most people have chosen to head to the ports saying that was the safest part but remembering that animals can be affected as well (the dogs that charge your barricades in LS and LS2)so i wouldn’t trust the sharks in the oceans i guess the only thing that you can do is survive because there would be no safe zone that would be well defended enough for a few years.

so that’s what i would do :D

2. best option would pry be a heavy blunt object like a pipe wrench or possibly a fire ax, at least until you get something a little more projectile-e

3. I live in california & schools here are under safety codes made to be riot proof for a certain number of hours, go to one clear it out, build up supplies (use school buses & transport vans to make runs to stores & find more weapons & ammo)
schools have room for survivors, heavy metal gates, steel doors, they also have showers for decontamination if necessary, along with a base supply of food in the cafe

4. get friends and family first but take anyone who isnt infected and is willing to help

5. don’t escape, build from your location (school), and block by block reclaim the city

1. The essentials. Food (dried, canned), water. 500L of water amongst a group of people is good. Some traps. Lighter.

2. Baseball bat, desert eagle, axe.

3. Families houses. Then to a fortified bunker near the ocean. Make sure its near a hill (so people can keep a lookout).

4. Family, friends. Get them to come to a meeting point (bunker)

5. The sea. No zombies. Plenty of food. Waters an issue. Wouldn’t go into a forest or desert. Supplies are an issue and zombies can easily track you down and kill you.

1. Although i like Messenger Bags they can’t hold a lot. So a nice sturdy backpack would suffice. Canteen for water storage. small pot to boil water (to remove contaminates), matches in a plastic bag (keep dry), ramen and (unfortunately) granola bars. NO beauty supplies. In a zombie apocalypse i would not really care about aesthetics. Lightweight stuff. Don’t want to be held or weighted down. Remember, Cardio =D.

2. Again, Lightweight. Guns + ammo can get heavy, so probably something easy to carry and lightweight. Aluminum Bow would be optimal. Quiver of about 50 arrows. Can always reuse an arrow, bullets are a one-time deal. Some type of close-range weapon too. Maybe that nice sword that you use for decoration even though it could cut a human’s spine in half *hint*

3. Difficulty here. Underground, air can get cut off. Elevated, cut off from gaining extra supplies if surrounded. The latter is more beneficial though =D. So… a good starting place would be that hunting nest. Elevated, most likely more than one way down (Zip line, pull-up ladder) and they are highly durable.

4. Contact… I doubt phones would work in this scenario. hate to say it but most laptops would get heavy and a wireless signal would be hard to come by, since now-a-days most are secured. So for contact, immediate people around me, if that. Never know who wants to munch your marrow.

5. Escape. In an apocalypse… zombies would be everywhere. EVERYWHERE. Could try freezing climate, but how long would you survive. Could try deserts… again, how long would you survive. Ocean… Smart, but since zombies can not breathe can they not just pull a highlander move or even a Pirates of the Caribbean move? Difficulty yet again… but a fishing boat would be semi-perfect. go to about 25-30 feet deep water and throw out the nets. Nets catch shrimp, dolphins, sharks and sometimes whales. So why not zombies trying to eat the Little Mermaid?

Well… that’s my plan, I hope it works. i kinda like my brain and marrow in my bones. And besides, zombies are just mis-understood. All they need is your marrowy love =D

1. Backpack with bottle of water, bread, newspaper, matches, pen and CROSSWORDS - keeps you busy, keeps you sane

2. Knife collection, axe handle, axe, shovel, sledge hammer, crowbars, gas tanks.

3. My backyard for desks to shut windows at the storey, then just enter home.

4. No-one. Net would be probably overcharged, same about phone line

Umm, and to point 5 - after things would chill and my house was in dangerous location, I would probably go to neariest arrest. It’s less than two hours from my place on foot, have 7 meters wall around it, just one entrance with solid double-gate. And most important - it’s almost empty whole time and would be most probably empty after beggining of zombie apocalypse xP

1.)Back Pack with assorted can goods, water, medicine.

2.)Crowbar,Knife,Hand Gun.

3.)North to Maine and gather supplies.

4.)Close by family only anyone I cant find in 6 hours is left behind.

5.)Work my way to Alaska as zombies are most likely cold blooded they will freeze. It is also unlikely the virus will spread in the harshest cold.

PROBLEMS:

You will never be able to go to a gun store think about it. If you owned a gun store where is the first place you will go? Right there is no way you would get in ever. Besides as soon as you reload your dead.

You would almost never go south where your more likely to get infected unless the army is strongly present.

Guns are hard to find but a few days after infection they should be everywhere in the streets.

Keep busy…You will go insane alone.

Save one bullet…Although it is most unlikely you will have the guts to shoot yourself have the comfort knowing its an option.

The army will not let you in the front door…deal with it.

Stay on the move or bunker down and fight pick one not both. You will have to use all of your resources so pick one.

Shot guns are noisy and will just draw a crowed to you.

Chainsaws while effective will DRAW EVERYONE TO YOUR LOCATION.

If you think about going somewhere think about anyone else who had your idea and if they are already inside as hostiles.

Never give up hope.

One thing I would do is to find enough leather to make a protective suit so that if I ran into a swarm of zombies I could beat them up without the imminent danger of being a meal. Fo my supplies I would find a supermarket like a Wegmans or something and thoroughly blockade it so no zombies could enter. I would set it up like a house, maybe light it with fire or something (for lighting, not like torching the place or anything). I would find a gun shop and stock up on all sorts of guns and ammo. I would also take knives from the store’s kitchen. When it first started I’d call my family and friends to see who was alive, who was eaten and who was a zombie. I would probably bring some in with me. There would be more than enough food and they could help with defense. My strategy would be to wait for all the zombies to die. If it was a disease, it would inevitably kill the host. I f they don’t die off then there is no escape. Whatever I do, I’m f_cked

4. My friend Brian (who makes the huge ass wooden weapons collection), and some other friends with weapons.

1. Grab only the canned food, if you got a first aid kit snag it, don’t bring fast rotting food, fruit is a must to stave off scurvy among other things.
2. We’ll start short range, go for the silverware first if that’s all you got, a knife is a knife. If your an avid gun collector go for small calibur so it’s faster to travel. crowbar is best but a light durable blunt object could be useful.
3. depends on how ready you are to go. if your short on supplies, head to a small store and pick up groceries, preferably on the edge of town, it’s harder because of the different sizes of towns. If you think about it, the center of a big town would be empty (supposedly if everyone was leaving the edges would be more dangerous)
4. Mother, Brothers, Friend Jason to tag team the zomibies and collab on long term settlment, other friends interested in their survival, then the police if possible.
5. Second floor, attic, graveyard (for good visiblity for shamblers at least), NOT A HOSPITAL, outpost if one is set up (long term so as not to bring hoardes to main settlement)

4)my 2 closet friends and we each bring one other person so a group of 6
5)country since im used to being out and you can survive in a place where traversing is difficult for “them” [mountains, island, Appalachians are perfect or the Rockies]

1. What supplies do you grab?
2. What weapons do you have around the house?
3. Where do you go first?
4. Who do you contact?
5. Where do you go to escape?

1.I’d grab some basic first aid/pain medication, and some water and food, enough to keep me fed for a wee bit but not enough to slow me down.

2. I have some chains, hooks, tools, and several hunting rifles.

3. At first I’d stay at my own house and barricade myself, analyze the situation and leave before things get too hairy. Then I’d head for the country, not a dense population and a house in the country can be easily defended.

4. Personally I’d contact my friends, and I’d contact my brother. If else I’d try to get to the military as SOON as possible.

5. To escape I’d try to go to the nearest place the Army is holding out, if not I’d try to band up with other survivors and head off to the nearest airport.

Hope this helps with LS3! Can’t wait for it >:D

!1. What supplies do you grab?
What you grab depends where you are, what class the zombie invasion is (1-5 ,five being the worst), and how long do you have till zombies arrive. but the if you dont have much time you should grab water food and medical supplies. If you have more time there is always clothing, weapons, fuel(if your travleing by motorized veichle).

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
It depends on where you live, lke if you live in the midwest you probably hunt so knives, hand guns, hunting rifles, bows, shotguns, if your a person who weapons (i know a ton of people that do) then swords and cross bows.

3. Where do you go first?
your fist priority is to get away from the zombies. Then you plot a course. YOU DO NOT GO NEAR MILLATARY INSTALATIONS !!!!!!!. There will be tons of people there and more people=more zombies. you dont go into cities. Go some place remote like a hunting cabin.
4. Who do you contact?
your family to tell them to meet you at your going. then you contact people whow can help you get there, like someone who can piolet a plane or friends in the millitary.

5. Where do you go to escape?
Go north zombies freeze if it gets to cold, but in the spring they THAW !!!

1. Yeah, the basics: some non-perishable food, water, meds, first aid stuff, tent, camping stuff, and some booze! :D

2. My Ruger 10/22, my dad’s S&W M10, various other long and hand guns (mostly hunting ones), kitchen knives, an ax, heavy tools (pipe wrenches, a couple of crowbars, hammers), nail/staple guns (all pneumatic, though), a couple of hunting knives, ect.

3. Up to my Granpa’s house to load up the camping stuff and get more food.

4. Mostly family, but I’ll try to get in contact with my old school chums.

5. Someplace in NW Arizona (I know exactly where, but I’m keeping it a secret… ;)).

1. What supplies do you grab?
Water, Food, ammunition, first aid, radio, gasoline (if travel is possible, batteries, lights, etc.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
A few baseball bats, pots, pans, kitchen knives, fireplace implements, etc.

3. Where do you go first?
NOT a gun store, probably to a gas station and then to a boat.

4. Who do you contact?
If power is back on, fire off a few quick calls to people within waling distance of your location, any other contact is distracting.

5. Where do you go to escape?
An island, for sure. Preferable resource rich. Ride the epidemic out there, until you can start to recolonize the mainland.

Well Id grab medical supplies, ammunition, guns, radio, gasoline, and light bulbs and batteries
For weapons Id use shotguns, rifles, mines and traps, explosives, and the legendary CHAINSAW
Id go to a safehouse looking for survivors or to an army depot looking for better guns and technology
Id contact not the army because theyd just throw out a couple nukes but people like friends and family or anyone associated with creating this ?*@!ing apocalypse
To escape Id go to a bomb shelter and load up all my suppplies and hold up there for help and if that doesnt go well if i coud escape Id find a way out of the country and if I cant escape Id blow the place to high hell

1. depends on how much time i have, if i knew before hand id run to wallmart, but if i had no warning i would all the non-perishables.(weapons supplies in #2)and my acoustic guitar(morale)I-pod(morale)

all the ammo available, baseball bat, random sharp objects, hatchet, chainsaw, everyday household items, bow and arrows, gasoline, ALOT of tannerite(google it or youtube)

3. first id wait for the “smoke to clear” then loot surrounding houses, make my way to the local cabellas(everything you need for long term survival) if i couldnt secure the building id make my way to a friends house out in adrian oregon(has a completely self-sufficent property) make a game plan then head south-west to no-cal to get the grandparents then head back to adrian

4.only the friends/family that could help ensure survival, no need for extra bagage

5.like i said adrian oregon, in the middle of no-where, has a pop. of about 200 and all the properties are large,self-sufficent and an abundance of animals to hunt/area to gather food(plus natural hot water, hello infinite hot showers!! plus dont have to worry about water supplies)

2. crowbar, shovel, sledge hammer, baseball bats, nail gun, modified paintball gun, materials to build other more lethal weapons

3.i would barricade my house up, and stay quiet/hidden for a number of days, then leave on a short raid to a police station for weapons and ammo, find other survivors, better hideout

4.family/friends

5.northern canada, northern russia, alaska, basically anywhere cold, because everybody knows zombies freeze in the winter

1 would grab water and things that would make it taste better like kool aid powder.
Would grabe some food, clothes, first aid, note book and writing utensil, soap

2 shotgun, chain saw, 45, 44, kitchen knives that i could tape to guns for bayonets

3 i would make my house into a fortress, with pipes sawed off at a steep angle and hammered into a ditch so that i could make a pit trap, sandbags. (lets see some zombies try and pound them apart, also they would be extremly easy to make and the materials are plentiful)

4 Anyone,

5 Right here in Minnesota, make a last stand till winter and then just let them freeze to death.

Hey con, why is it that in the game only one of each gun type exists in an entire state, no matter how much you search. I would really apperciate an open-ended and co-op version of the game, mabye some medals.

1. Everyone that has posted so far has had very distinct mental plans of what they would grab, providing they know about the infection. There would be much confusion in the beginning of the infection, and, living in Suburbia, panickers would be as dangerous as zombies. I would grab all the knives and my machete and barricade my house. DO NOT GRAB A CHAINSAW BECAUSE EVEN IF YOU MANAGE TO KILL A ZOMBIE, THERE BODILY FLUIDS WILL SPRAY EVERYWHERE, INFECTING YOU.
2. I would try to barricade my house, especially the attic, where I would retreat to. I would grab as much food and water as possible and store it up there. I would try to contact my family, and as barricading my house I would be listening to the emergency radio. On my roof I would spray paint days since infection, and tally them so that any military helicopters passing overhead would see the accurate count, knowing that someone is still alive, not simply a help sign from someone who could already be infected.
5. After the confusion ensuing the first few days, I would go to the roof of my house and survey the damage. I would make sure there are no zombies outside, get in my car and head to the prison. I would fortify there and wait for rescue, enlisting prisoners by promising them survival by letting them out (who are not infected because zombies cannot get into their cells) to help me build fortifications. The prison would have watchtowers, weapons, and much stored food to supply us.

4. God, so i can ask him “Wtf?”

1. Grab all canned items. Easy to carry, and take years to expire. Also would take a few tools to repair any barricades I make, but I would not take a toolkit because that would weigh me down. A medikit would be a must… So would be a radio, to hear of any escapes.

2. Ok, for weapons… A few knives… a pistol, and maybe a hunting rifle or shotgun if I’m lucky…

3.I would head to the police station 1st, I would probably find a few rifles and pistols, and if the police station had a swat team, there would be a couple of assualt rifles, if the zombies hadnt gotten in 1st…

4. For contacts, Id contact every firend, every once enemy, everyone on facebook, everyone on myspace, and every number on my cell phone address book. The larger the intial survivor party you have, the better the chances overall.

5.As for shelter and escape, I would grab as many supplies and weapons as possible, defending myself, like the main survivor in Last Stand, utilizing a barricade in the police station I was in. After I had enough supplies, survivors, and weapons, I would head out to a remote military base. From there, I would train my survivors in the art of driving tanks, and flying helicopters from whatever learning materials are in the remote base, hopefully enough so that we dont crash land like what happened in Last Stand 2. Once done, I will plan our escape, and either fly out by jet or helicopter, or utilize the radio I have to drive a tank or an ATV to a port providing survivors with a way off the infected zone. Survival completed.

1.-well it depends on how much time i have cause if its a right now thingy stuff i would probaly die still in the “shitting my pants while praying” phase :/

2.-firstn con i really have to ask…
where the %@#$ u all people get your guns at???
i have nothing im screwed i probably just take a crowbar and a knife or sledge hammer and my good old SKATEBOARD :D
bat yeah bat too

3.-i would stay at my home and use my bike to scout around (bicicle :)) and use the car just for pickups and getting heavy supplies

4.- HER <3, then my ma, dad, granny, etc, etc and i would try to keep a minimun of people with me cause more people tends to make things worse :/

5.-well look i live in sandiego so theres about a million people/zombies so i would try to get the fuck away but not inland maybe i would stack up then rush to a boat and head to hawwai (internet navigation classes) cause the autorities there should easily put down any fat hawain zombie and clear the island for the survivers
or… i would go to a building and get to the top floor like in 28days :)

but im just 14 so i would probably get raped by supper zombies before any of that :/

1. Canned food, a first aid kit (just in case), my ipod (for zombie killing music =] ), my cellphone or a walkie-talkie (to contact family, friends, authorities, etc.), anything else I find useful (flashlight?).

2. Knives, chainsaw, I could make a makeshift spear, my fists (the deadliest weapon in the world)

3. Home, to get supplies.

4. Authorities first (that way, they could broadcast on television and radio and alert more people). Then family and friends.

5. I’d go to heaven. No zombies in heaven ;)

1. First aid, Food, Water, Swiss Army Knive, Ammo, and things of that sort.
2. ocasionally inside a home or just civilian owned weapons : 9mm M1911 handgun, a .357 Revolver, a pumpshotgun, a hunting rifle, knives, Baseball Bats, Chainsaws (They look cool but jam too easily and need fuel). only at police station: MP5 SMG, M1A1 Assault Rifle, a Police Baton, Uzi (maybe).
3.I would go to the Gunstore a bunch of guns and ammo and if your lucky and it has a range, then skilled marksmen.
4.Everyone important to me and a few men who are very skilled with weapons, a small group is sometimes better than a smaller one you can move faster and you can have better communication.
5. I would never go to a Police station for safety, just for guns and maybe a vehicle, otherwise a police station is the second most heavily infested area anywhere, hospitals being the first. The best escape places i can think of is Deep in the Rockie Mountains or off the coast on a remote island.

I know you might not see this, but what is up with all this crap about people grabbing machine guns out of their closet?! At least be reasonable. Anyway an answer:

1. What supplies do you grab?
I would get the standard: medkit, flashlight, cell phone, food, stuffed animal, hygiene supplies, and a how to book.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
I have my 20 guage hunting shotgun, my dad’s 9mm handgun, his 12 guage, shears, deadly chemicals, his rifles, my rifle, and his revolver (I don’t know the caliber. sorry!) Malee weapons would be pretty much useless.
3. Where do you go first?
AWAY FROM CITIES!(though fighting block through block in Union City would be awesome!!)! I would try to go where the authorities told me unless it was against my better judgement.
4. Who do you contact?
People in my family and out of it, with wide and varied skill sets and different backgrounds.

5. Where do you go to escape?
A radio station to contact help across a wide channel, or maybe a naval base to get off the mainland!!

Thanks for listening to my suggestions. Oh, on the household chemicals, perhaps get a ’sin mark’ type mixer, to make deadly combinations, traps, or things to make them go away.

I would get What supplies do you grab?
Food and water as well as clothing.
2. What weapons do you have around the house?
3 pump shotguns and two semi auto shotguns, cutlery, blunt objects (baseball bats hockey sticks etc.) and a chainsaw.
3. Where do you go first?
I would try to get to the nearest military base.
4. Who do you contact?
Family and friends and establish a meeting place.
5. Where do you go to escape?
A military base where they will have escape vehicles set up most likely.

Lols con, im amazed if you actually read all these.

“Yeah, I’m kinda after what people actually have laying around. Not fantasy land like these idiots who have AK-47’s and pipebombs laying around.
- Con”

Hilarity. But making fairly powerful pipebombs is retardedly easy. I’ve made bombs since I was 8. Black powder is an amazingly easy formulation, [BUNCH OF STUFF OF HOW TO MAKE EXPLOSIVES], stick it in pvc pipe, prime & seal the ends. Tadaa!

Making reliable fuses is only a little harder.

Yeah, let’s keep out of Terrorist Handbook type discussion here, eh?

1. It would probably happen suddenly.
Maybe some water and a few matches. Rope and a lighter. I would take a few pictures of my friends and family along with other things that mean a lot to me.
My jansport backpack, that has been with me now for about five years. I have a camera that I wouldn’t mind using.

2. Knives, but they’re not that sharp though. Assorted spatulas and a wooden spoon? We cook a lot. Maybe a crowbar and some random leftover planks of wood. We don’t own guns or swords, like most reasonable people. The pawn shop is about an hour bike ride away though…

3. To the houses of friends and family members, to see if they either neeed help or just someone to talk to.

4. Most likely friends and family. I wouldn’t bother calling the police because I wouldn’t be really thinking of the logistics of the situation. I would tell the people that I know well that I still love them and care for them and that we’d find our ways through this somehow.

5. I’m not sure that I would want to escape from my home, unless the area that I lived in just happens to be sparsely populated…
If I lived in the city though, I would probably do a lot of vertical exploring on account of the tall buildings.
I noticed driving to work last week that the radio station downtown put some new solar panels in…

Sorry Con but I just renewed my survival plan. Remember I am a Zomboligist.

1. What Supplies do you grab?
Well I just checked my supplies and I have enough food to last about 16 days between me and my family. We would leave all the cans till last. ( in my case a tomato soup can, Yuk!) We have about 5 bottles to fill up with water and we’ll fill up all the cups too cause the water could get infected and infected water will be coming out of the taps. a Crowbar can make a useful tool in the zombie apocalypse, for unlocking stuff, like car doors, windows and house door, cause c’mon, if you heard zombies were coming you wouldn’t just leave the door unlocked would you? Also a Farming Book to teach me how to farm because I don’t know about you but I would like a rest from looting every once in a while. Also a backpack to keep everything in! SERIOUSLY PEOPLES I WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU CARRY ALL YOUR SHOTGUNS BOMBS FLAMETHROWERS AND ALL THE OTHER STUFF YOU PROBABLY MADE UP!! Also Red Spray can, Bike and survival knife

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
Survivor Knife, Homemade Spear ( broomstick attached to knife with duct tape ( people are copying me with that now)), Sticks, My dog ( Ai Amm Legeendd!) , Cricket bat ( AUSSSSSSIEEE!!!!) ,My Skateboard, Ninja Skills, Crowbar, and the chainsaw. No firearms, just full on meele.

3. Where do you go first?
I’ve killed about 100 zombies before in zombie dreams (or as I like to call them, training simulators) so it’s not as hard.
I would ring up my friends and round them and their parents up for the battle. I’ll tell them to get all the weapons food and everything as well. I’ve already talked to this and 4 of them are officially going to do it. Then we defend the house. But after we do the first night we’ll head to the mall and loot some stuff and check the street directory to see in there are any gun shops within 2 hours drive.

4. Who do you contact?
God, and friends. I’ve already checked with Chuck Norris and he said he’ll just come so I don’t have to worry about him. Also I think Obama will be fine with all of the bodyguard… hopefully. And then theirs this other zomboligist in Canada so yeah.

5. Where do you go to escape?
Well I’ll send my survivor group to live in the country, the outback, a remote area, military base or another survivor clan after I think they can go on without me. Then if the Zomboligist in Canada wants to I’ll meet him In china, where there are HEAPS of zombies. it’ll be great for me. But if the other Zomboligist doesn’t want to I might go alone or just stay with my clan.

Well, Con I think there are plenty more plans to come. till the past few days I never knew so many people were so into the whole thing. I think we would all like to know your zombie plan!! What is it anyways?

1. What supplies do you grab?
Food and guns/explosives, wood and steel plating

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
knife, electric fence cutter, axe

3. Where do you go first?
Gunstore and Mall, then I would fortify in a strategic location

4. Who do you contact?
Any survivors that are willing to fight, friends and family first

5. Where do you go to escape?
I would build a fort in which I need no escape and scavenge for food in daytime (this would mean no ending), otherwise I would find an island to spend the rest of my days on…

What about alcohol! you’d be lying if you wouldnt take alcohol, would be a great moral boost for people who are with you! Chocolate for the same reason. In Britain we don’t have gun’s as readily available, so would have to run to supermarket first to stock up, maybe the local garden centre to look for improvised weapons, ie, garden hoe, or a nail gun? As far as getting away, the countryside sounds nice, maybe a stately home?

1. What supplies do you grab?

Backpack, canned goods, can opener, four pairs of socks, one change of clothes, emergency glow sticks, six cell flashlight, ( can double as a club) map of California, and as much water as I can carry.

2.What weapons do you have around the house?

KBAR fighting/ultility knife. Authentic Japanese katana. Six cell flashlight ^, pepper spray. ( because sometimes Humans are more dangerous then zombies)

3 Where do you go first?

Depends. If my fiancee is with me, we go as far as my car can take us, keep on the move avoiding other people until we can find a secure place to hole up.

If she isn’t with me. Then I go find her, and bring hell with me.

4 Who do you contact?

If cell phones are still operating, I contact my family and friends. If they are not, then nobody. Odds are with the amount of casultys piling up and danger lurking at every corner and second of the day, Im too busy keeping myself alive to worry about others.

Where do you go to escape?

I would try the local grocery store. Thick safety glass in the front that zombies couldn’t smash through. Plenty of foodstuffs to last a while. A loft to hide in incase of a break in with escape options. And its five minutes away on foot.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
Well there alot of lighters in my house and we have hairspray/Axe so Flames,Knifes,Chainsaw

3. Where do you go first?
Not a hospital,I mean you could get supplies there but the chances are there’d be a lot of infected people there,So a gun store or a police station

4. Who do you contact?
try and contact the cops that are still alive, hunters and so on

5. Where do you go to escape?
An island with a low pop. so there hardly any infected

1. What supplies do you grab?
i live in suburbia and all we have is a couple of baseball bats, hockey sticks(go bruins) and all of the canned goods in my house. we also have a lot of dry food that we could bring. id also get my ipod so i could get pumped while evading zombies.

2. what weapons do you have around the house?
like most normal people i have an axe a couple baseball bats, some knives and thats about it.

3. where do u go first?
since i live in a town where everything is really close to each other i could bike 5 minutes and get to the supermarket, police station and a CVS.

4. Who do u contact?
i would first contact my immediate family because we are all super athletic and we make a great team. if the phones weren’t out then we would get the grandparents.

5. where would u go to escape?

the only logical thing to do would to barricade my house and stock up on food and ammo. my basement is huge, so we could keep supplies down there and barricade our first floor.

1.What supplies: i would grab canned food some tools and hell even some vodka cause you know your gonna want some!

2.weapons: i would grab 1 bat my chainsaw and a shotgun

3.where do i go first: the gun shop of course but only stay there for a few min cause to many people in one location for 2 long= instant swarm of zombies about to kill you

4.who do u contact?: my uncle cause he could get me some protection for a while until we get out of the city and for god’s sake get the hell out of the city is what i do after the guns.

5:TO ESCAPE: OUT OF THE CITY then bike not drive to the border or to northern minnesota cause there aren’t alot of people further north than minneapolis.

1. (What supplies?) I’d take my backpack, cram it with canned food, a can opener, a spoon, and however many boxes of matches/lighters I can find. (This is assuming I was caught by surprise by the zombie apocalypse)

2. (What weapon?) A monkey wrench (the small, but heavy kind that allows easy swinging with enough force to break the skull). It’s currently under the sink in a toolbox, ready for ‘use’.

3. (Go where first?) Assuming I know better (read zombie guides), I’d grab one of the many bikes lying around in my neighborhood and bike towards the nearby shopping mall. That thing has shatter-proof glass, steel-shutters, and is basically built like they’re expecting an apocalypse of looters. I have co-workers there, and they’re most likely to help since they know me.

4. (First contact who?) I’m living on my own in a townhouse, so I’d most likely try to contact my parents (which will no doubt fail, as cell phones/internet/telephone will crash from the chaos). Assuming I know better, I’d just not contact anyone and ‘limber up’ for my trip to the mall.

5. (Where to escape?) Shopping center; it’s the fortress with food. It also has a Wal-Mart, so we’re bound to find some ‘guns’ [I've found crazier things while 'looting around' in Last Stand 2.]

NOTE: Staying in my townhouse is a big NO, since it’s small, the backyard has no fence, and the door is made of normal glass. The doors are wooden, and I doubt they can take a beating. Plus, our neighborhood is close to other densely-populated areas, AND it’s right NEXT TO A HOSPITAL (dum-dum-dum-dum…).

In fact, now that I think of it, there’s a police station, a fire station, a hospital, a shopping mall, and a university (I’m a studen) very close to my neighborhood. In a zombie apocalypse, I’d most likely be dead.

-Map of Country, streets, cities

(surviving, multiple uses)
-Matches,lighter,flares.
(illumination)
2.
-Anything i can lay my hands on, preferably a gun or something with which i can do damage.
3.
First I’d raid my neighborhood for anything useful and pick up my friends along the way.
4.
I’d contact people who are close to me, preferably if they also live close to me.
5.
-I would go to one of those small supermarkets that are out of the way, but only if it has steel shutters. Otherwise I’d barricade myself inside a gun shop and make a barricade out of anything large and solid.

 220

1. Campfire, wood, matches, tent, first aid kit, toolbox, lantern, flares, radio, notepad, and pencil.
2. Magnum, Flame thrower, mini pistol, shotgun, propane, and knife.
3. I would group up with my team in a designated location.
4.I would contact my group of 7 guys battle ready and armed to the teeth with skill and firepower.
5.I have a place deep into the provinces of Quebec in northeastern Canada. (jk, i live in the us. but thats were i go because NO ONE LIKES CANADA!) haha jk
PLEASE USE MINE! and look in the Book by max brooks i explained in my name slot! PS. cant wait for the next one man. u guys rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. I would grab my ball-peen hammer (for breaking into things like stores) or as a light and efficient weapon, food and water, a map of the area, a spare set of clothes including shoes, and if I had any guns I would bring a pistol and ammo. The key is to pack light, and be ready to run the hell out of town asap.
2. I don’t have any weapons, but if I did I would have some form of 9mm and a Mossberg 500 (.410 shotgun). I am a lightweight guy, and big guns scare me. It is better to have a weaker gun used efficiently than a huge, powerful gun one uses ineffectively or with fear.
3. The first place I would go is my friend’s house, to grab her and take her with me to, say, a mall or other place with lots of supplies (I know she’s the kind of person that would be very prepared for this).
4. As mentioned above, I contact my friends. The most important thing to me is to travel in small groups (get too big, too many arguments. Watch “Night of the Living Dead”), that way you have extra protection and ideas without getting too bogged down. No more than 3/4 people in a group.
5. If staying at the mall with loads of supplies doesn’t work, I would go to the airport and steal a helicopter (or, prefferably, get someone who can fly a helicopter fly me out of the danger zone). The ideal vehicle in a zombie apocalypse is the helicopter, so that’s where I’m headed if things get too desperate.

BTW, huge fan of the Last Stand series. Best flash games on the internet, in my opinion.

1)pre-sealed food, resealable containers of water, ammunition and cleaning kit for my gun, utility knife, crowbar, machete

2) muliple of shotguns( 20 and 12 gauge)
.308 wunchester hunting rifle
.22 rifle
hunting knifes
crowbars
short sword( real one)

3)no where, stay at home first, staying at the highest point in my home until things cool down, then either a military fort or prison

4)try to contact anyone that is most important to myself and could aid in my survival, friends with guns, family, friends who know common survival techniques, girlfriend or wife

5)the most secluded or heavily fortified area, wilderness, offshore oil platforms, prisons, military forts, mountains, tundra like places

con your a great game maker, keep going, your awesome and may i suggest a good book for you The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks

1. Something like for a backpacking trip, food (prefferably canned or dehydrated), first aid kit, medicine (especially pain killers), survival knife, compass, magnesium flint stick, matches, water, canteen, camelback, backpack etc.

2. Lee Enfield No. 4, Bayonet, Sword, Knives, Shotgun, Compound Bow

3. I live on the river, and we have a boat, so thats where I would go because zombies can’t swim, I would then meet and pick up family and friends on the river (I guess if the situation wasn’t to bad I would drive to family and friends house so they wouldn’t have to go into danger)

4. I would call my parents and my grandmother to help them, I would probably call several of my close friends so we could band together and combine our skills and fight off zombies

5. As I said earlier I would get on our boat, then I would boat up river to a marina, and get on a sailboat and sail south to the caribean, sailboat because it does not require gasoline to go places, I would pick one with solar panels and a water maker, that way you could use solar power to charge batteries and have a renewable power source to run communications equipment, refrigerator, water maker, etc. Also, on a sailboat you can fish for your food (some spearfishing and some traditional fishing), so you don’t have to go on land with zombies for anything no gasoline needed, you have renewable water, a way to obtain food.

1. What supplies do you grab?
non-perishable foods, those big 10l water drums if i was to be in a fortified position if i was going to be on the move (which would probably be the wisest thing to do) 2l bottles would be more realistic or a camel back (or hydration bak) if i can find one, knife, flash light, radio, police scanner or any kind of radio scanner…

2. What weapons do you have around the house?…lol cane knife…seriously and thats about it

3. Where do you go first? small time supermarkets, electronic stores, gas stations and make my way up to malls hospitals police stations (guns)etc you know pick up supplies if any….or look for survivors if any…

4. Who do you contact? friends family anyone over the radio

5. Where do you go to escape?
i doubt there is any hope of escape…but i would mostly likely be on the move…keeping away from over populated areas…

The basic survival stuff, non perishable food, bottled water,med-kit,various kinds of tape, dont wanna bring to much in case you gotta run like hell.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
I have a semi-auto shot gun, over under shot gun. I have baseball bats, and a knife, hunting knife and kitchen knives…add a stick and tape and u have some usefull spears.

3. Where do you go first?Try the local gun shops but probably all ready robbed, maybe hit up gas stations or find someplace that isnt ransacked, gotta make it quick cant do a long search due to zombies and maybe raiders.

4. Who do you contact? No one there probably all dead or ran by now, if they havnt their to dumb to save anyways.

5. Where do you go to escape?
I wherever everyone else isnt going, dont listin to the emergency broad cast and dont go to the country, thats where everyone else is headed, zombies will fallow. get out to sea if possible and maybe find a island of hide out in some secure place.

(I got my advice by the "zombie survival guid" by Max Brooks)

1. My notebooks, a pen, a flashlight and a bike if possible
2. ee… … kitchen… knife… stuff?
3. Try to snatch one of those ships on the river
4. The guy who knows how to operate the ship?
5. Unless zombies know how to swim and climb aboard, I’d stay on the ship and keep it on the river in the city, so I can easily collect supplies and still have a safe place to rest. Otherwise - out to sea and look for a safe port. Depends on situation, really.

1. I’d go anywhere the zombies aren’t. Stick to open spaces with little for the zombies to hide behind. I wouldn’t wait around in a fortified house for friends and family. It’s better to just assume they’ve been bitten.
2. I don’t own any guns, nor do I know anyone who owns any. So I’d have to make due with some homemade melee weapons. As for supplies, medical kit, non-parishable food, and water.
3. The first place I would go is probably the armory. Gotta find some guns in there. If not, then the police station is right across the street XD
4. I’d probably try to contact anyone I know who MIGHT have survived. Misery loves company :P
5. Now, as for escape…. small remote islands, like FIJI might (and that’s a big MIGHT) be free of infection. But I’m nowhere near the ocean, sooo…. I’d probably just stick it out on the mainland, keep moving, and try to survive as long as I can. Because lets face it…APOCALYPSE! Means world wide! There’s really no place safe, unless…. maybe a houseboat, just a few miles off shore. A family memeber recommended the top of the CN Tower with a sniper rifle. XD

1. Food (preferably something pre-cooked and preserved, like canned food), water (and plenty of it, since clean water is hard to come by), my multi-tool, a flashlight (spare batteries of course), flint, signal mirror, matches (in a waterproof case), compass, map, medicinal alcohol, and bandaging.

2. I have an apache bow, a machete, plenty of knives (mostly pocket knives, probably a few sheath knives if I looked), a long rod that could probably be sharpened into a makeshift spear, and a single-edged sword. (I would most likely abandon the sword, though…)

3. I’d break into a camping/sporting store. The guns would most likely be looted by the time I get there, but other items such as sulfur matches, axes/hatchets, and other good tools/supplies would probably have been overlooked by looters. Alternatively, a hardware store would have necessary barricading supplies.

4. I have several friends who live pretty close by. I would try to find them and barricade/travel with them. (Safety in numbers!)

5. Hm…that’s a hard one. To the north is NYC, and to the South is…more cities. To the east is ocean, and the west…erm, more cities. I think that my best bet would actually be to either stay put and wait for contact. If contact does not come for a reasonable amount of time (which would vary depending on the class of outbreak), I would take my chances with New York City. Being a port city, the disadvantage of a potentially high zombie density might be outweighed by a government motive to liberate it, as well as contact with other (uninfected) regions from overseas. Otherwise, I might be lucky and find an abandoned boat/ship.

1. Canned and dried food, a water purifier, different kinds of medicines, ammunition for certain guns, a manually rechargeable flashlight+radio, tight clothing, scissors, and many other supplies I am not going to bother to list.

2. A silenced automatic rifle, a crowbar and 7 inch non-serrated knife, and a silenced pistol.

3. First I would try to reach family members. Then I would immediately leave the city on a bicycle, pistol and crowbar in easy reach. After escaping the city, I would then go to a somewhat secluded area, probably somewhere in the country to formulate my plan.

4. I would contact any family members that are not nearby to see if I can reach them. Hopefully they are ok. If something happened to them, there is nothing I can do.

5. I would go to some little corner of the earth away from civilization, but still accessible to natural needs such as water and fertile soil. I would wait 10-20 years before revealing myself to the world. (I would need to see that an epidemic of zombies in its early stages to be able to travel and airplane to a different country. Early detection is key to survival)

1. The essentials, radio, phone (see if everyone’s okay), food, knife.

2.My pocket knife, some knives downstairs, and a baseball bat or 2

3.I would first tell everyone to get to the church, then we’ll see where we go from there, but before that, GUN STORE/SPORTING STORE. They always have weapons

4.I’d contact friends and family, to see if their still okay, and tell them to meet up somewhere. I’d also try to get a hold of the military, see what they can try to do. Like send help or rescue.

5. I would go somewhere secluded, far from cities and neighborhoods. That way, I can see how they change and act, study them pretty much. Then have a look around the nearby towns for whatever i need. and I’d be in a place with good soil for crops

Food, Ammo, Camo, Shovel or Axe, Knives, and transportation.
2. What weapons do you have around the house?
Compound Bow, Rifles, Shotgun, Knives, Axes, Bats, Pistols, and I guess my dog would count too.

Scout out towns for people. Check Grocery stores, Police departments, and hospitals so that you can look for survivors and supplies at the same time.
4. Who do you contact?
All known relatives, anyone with useful skills and/or equipment. In all honesty I would probably contact some girls because I’m gonna get tired of looking at zombies plus who in their right mind likes a sausage fest?
5. Where do you go to escape?
The highest possible point around, an area with a great line of fire, a place with multiple exits, good cover, fresh water, or a fortified building.

Sorry, I’m off format here but I just have to say something: At least 70% of people are trying to contact the police. In a major, full out zombie apocalypse, why on earth are you trying to contact them? Imagine 200 million people, all calling at the same time the police departments. they would probably already be long gone, because it’s not like they can protect all 200 million people at once. The military is a better option, though the amount of people that will be trying to contact it will be too large to answer every single person. If you’re the 1% of the people who get through to them, what are you going to say? “Oh, hi, I would like to be escorted to a safe location.” Do you think they will please a single or a group of citizens instead of 300 million? I think not.

1. Water, and food that won’t spoil. But the key is to travel light. Can’t survive if you can’t out run a zombie.
2. Big cooking knife. Maybe a baseball bat. Probably shouldn’t stick around too long inside the house.
3. Walmart. No joke, they have everything a person needs to survive + guns and ammo.
4. Police. They have the most weapons training of people that are easy to contact. Then friends and family.
5. Either Texas or California. They have the most guns in the country. Logically speaking, they would be the most capable of fighting a Zombie apocalypse. Yeah they have large populations, but that doesn’t matter when one man holding a gun can kill over 50 people.

I just have a question for you con. Have your ever read the book “The Zombie Survival Guide” because that would tell you the essentials of what you need and what you HAVE to put in your game to make it as realistic as possible.

Yes I have and I don’t happen to like Max Brook’s version of the zombie fiction. While it’s “realistic” a lot of it is a bit boring for a game.

Zombies Must Die
 258

Un Perishables would be a must for any situation so cereal and powdered milk things like that would be a great thing to have.
Well in all reality you are not going to find tons of guns and ammo so melee weapons are your ONLY choice for the time being unless you find a gun or two around where you are staying most likely pistols. Just about anyone is a really good thing to have not because they will help kill and gather supply’s its if you are a good runner and can out run them they die not you. I just happen to be set for this scenario as I live on a Island where just about everyone has some sort of weapon the island is only 5 by 14 miles long and people run from one end to the other in about 3 hours so this is a good place to hide as there should be plenty of farms and seeds and other un-perishables for the time being.

this is what i would do if i had to relocate
1. 1 weeks rations, 2 gallons of water, Ammo
2.my 357. S&W magnum, 22. Ruger.(200 rounds for both) and 2 knives both not serrated and a metal baseball bat
3.go pick up close family if not already dead then go get my best friend then head out to our destination
4.my best friends then family
5. probably to the yukon territory because its freezing and since zombies have no core temperature they would instantly freeze and there are some ppl out there so we could make a outpost

1. Supplies, I would grab would be a backpack, some tins of food, a can opener, bottle of water. Best to pack light so you don’t get weighed down too much.
2. Weapons that I could get easily would be a kitchen knife, could use deoderant and a lighter too. Most things lying around the house could be used as a weapon.
3. First, I would go into the other rooms in the house to check for any zombies and to check on family. We would try ringing friends then, if they answered we would go and try to pick them up, otherwise we would get in the car and drive to the nearest supermarket or sports shop. We could find more supplies to load the car up and crossbows inside the sports shop.
4. As said before, we would ring around close friends first to see if they were all right. We wouldn’t bother ringing any services as many others would ring them too. It would only waste time trying to get through.
5. Escape? There may never be a chance of escape and it could be dangerous to be cought in an unfamiliar place with no supplies. We would stock up on food and weapons, find somewhere safe and secure and hold up. If needed we could send groups out to search for more survivors and more supplies. We would keep a radio handy for any news. When things got too dangerous we would relocate.

1. What supplies do you grab?

Supplies will slow you down anything you can fit in backpack such as a gun, sword/crowbar, other blunt object as the gun will attract more zombies. Canned/smoked food, bleach as it can purify stuff, rubbing alcohol for the same purpose of disinfection.

a bike is necessary too as it doesn’t need gas and makes no noise.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?

Knives, baseball bat, crowbar, lawn chairs…

3. Where do you go first?

mountains/ dessert/ docks and on a ship.

far away from civilization. anywhere where people gather (mall, police station, etc) will be crowded with zombies.

4. Who do you contact?

No one. it’s you Vs the wild baby.

5. Where do you go to escape?

mountains, ocean, dessert. Anywhere where you can have a way out of and there are few zombies.

It all depends if the zombies freeze over winter Max Brooks style or if they don’t…

Hi Con.

My general opinion is: in order to survive, one must be as lighter and swifter as possible and avoid all unnecessary combats. I love to destroy zombies in flash games, but in real life, I would RUN! Independence from ammo and fuel is also crucial.

1. Supplies? My bike and camping stuff: backpack, sleeping bag, hammock, light rope, rubber poncho, pocket radio, lighter, matches, food and drink (preferably canned or of the type that doesn´t need to be cooked). I would also choose durable clothes, not beautiful ones: army boots, coat, jeans. NEVER FORGET THE TOILET PAPER!!!

2. Weapons? I have only my trusty and old camping knife, which I would surely take with me.

3. Where to go? As far as I can from any town or city! The more people, the more zombies. Wandering throught the wild for some weeks would give me the chance to watch the situation in the nearby cities from a safe distance.

4. Contact? I would try to contact my fiancée and my parents with the phone, since they live in other cities. But in such situations all the phones used to be dead…

5. Escape? I would try to get informations in the radio about the evac points, but before entering one, I would check it carefully. Better alive in the wilds than trapped inside a chaos of desperate people!

1.well first thing i would not take a medkit bcause once ur bit u dead id probly take some lighter fluid and a lighter some 4pairs of batteries and a torch (never no how long epidemic could go for) the i would pack non perishable food and bought bottled water a blanket and warm clothes or cold depending on contienent also a radio and extra batteries
2.probly a axe machete and a few knives but id probly go to the hunting shop in town and raid it for pistols and alot of ammo clips the more bullets the more u can kill no rifles there can usally only carry 1 bullet at a time so there kinda useless and a silencer if they have it for the pistol dont want to attract attention.
3.gun shop to grab ammo and guns and stuff then to a farming store to get wood and barbed wire and electric wire.
4.not my immeadiate family because there probly right beside me but id call my friends and tell them to come over to my place.

1. What supplies do you grab?
Torch, energy drinks, caffeine pills, mobile phone, camera, food with high energy content and/or canned or preserved, masks and an extra set of long-sleeved jacket and pants. Oh and any medical supplies I can find.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
I live in Australia - A place where guns aren’t necessarily an everyday item. So in all honesty: knives, cricket bat, aerosol cans (e.g. bug spray, deodorant, WD-40, etc.), lighter and a pillow (to stab through to try to prevent any infected biomatter gets on me).

3. Where do you go first?
If at night, to the closest shoppingcentre or department store (if it’s closed, there’s no one around, right?). If it’s at day - Drive to the countryside.

4. Who do you contact?
Emergency services, family and friends.

5. Where do you go to escape?
Make-shift burrow in the outback. Works for lizards, rabbits and all other sorts of animals - I guess it could work for me…

I tried to be realistic, which is bad, since I don’t know anyone who has an easy-to-access gun down here…

1. water purifier/ iodine, water, clothes and shoes, a few methods of starting a fire, medical supplies to summarize your basic first-aid kit, non fold able carbon steel knife, space blanket, binoculars, a compass and a map for where i am going.
2. a combat knife, a SPAS-12 shotgun a CheyTec m200 intervention, and a .600 Nitro express. (okay these are mostly just guns that could be fun in game. most of the practical survival stuff has defiantly been mentioned look into the .600 nitro express for perhaps an in game bonus gun)
3. a superstore in a strip mall (again not as practical as some other answers but could be an interesting location in game) or a highway rest stop to rest in between me and my destination.
4. local emergency services then family/ friends
5. Mountains specifically high alpine in NW North America

1. Fire wood, gasoline (maybe you can use it as a trap by emptying a tub of it on the floor and when zombies go over it you can shoot it to set it on fire?), food supplies, camping gear, multiple light fixtures, seeds for growing food, a radio, water filtrating system so I can safely drink spring or river water, clothes for summer and winter, night vision goggles, portable television.

2. Kitchen knifes, chainsaw, could use lava lamp as one time grenade/rocket, bowie knife, frying pan, pickaxe, shovel, katana from cousin traveling in Japan.

3. Military convoy, sheriffs department, if it gets too bad I might head towards a private airstrip near my town and hijack a plane.

4. I find as many people as I can, from random strangers to close family members, organize a group, and travel along with them.

1. What supplies do you grab?
Any food that doesn’t need to be cooked, as much water as i can carry, any medical equipment and pills we have in the house.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
Basic Household Melee equipment. (Shovel’s, crowbar, hammers, Knifes)

3. Where do you go first?
to begin with, Id fill my bathtub with water, take all food that doesnt need to be cooked up stairs, take as many bottles of water upstairs and then cut the stairs off, denying access to the 2nd floor (this would be easy in my house, easier with electricity)
I would hold out on the 2nd floor untill the need to move on, at wich point id hit the store across street for food and then the stores around the corner, then return to home untill the need to branch further

4. Who do you contact?
Use computer for as long as the internet is up, see who else is still alive. As soon as it goes down, assume everyone is dead.

5. Where do you go to escape?
the countryside, with any survivors i find along the way. Staying away from anywhere with too many people for at least a year if possible.

hope this helps, best of luck Con.

3. Where do you go first? If the zombies are right upon me, to the roof, or on a tree, if i can see them the middle school (its right across the street. convenient, but true.) If they’re in new york or something, rent a boat and go to an island.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
Rifle, Shotgun, knifes, propane gas, wires, batteries, heavy stuff like rocks.

3. Where do you go first?
Barricade a weapons supply store and stockpile supermarkets to storage there. If I could I would take over a bunker or military base/airstrip.

4. Who do you contact?
Craftsmen and hunters are useful for survival but friends augment the teamwork.

5. Where do you go to escape?
Where zombies can’t walk into (that means neither normal people by foot) but where I may find resources: remote places, rainforest, deserts, underground complexes, mines, bush or before military occupied locations. Volcanos and high mountains are options too, but more dangerous to live in.

My second post…

1. What supplies do you grab?
Obvious necessities i.e. canned food(or any food with long shelf life), water, first aid kit, morphine, tools, phone, wallet, any other communication portable communication device, pocket radio, flashlight, batteries(most types), entertainment(handed gaming systems- morale would play a big role in keeping the will to live).

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
Axe, hatchet, bats, shovel, the all powerful crowbar, guitar(when you first encounter zombies the nearest thing is a weapon), kitchen knives(not great, but blades are always useful), fireworks(distractions).

3. Where do you go first?
Check on friends and close-by family(luckily, a cousin in that close-by family, my brother, some friends, and I always talk about zombie situations. Also, we know what guns we prefer, and my cousin already obtained three, the Steyr Aug, M1 Garand, forgot the last one), then, got to the nearest convenience stores and gun shops(hopefully they are conveniently abandoned, or the people there aren’t shooting on site and willing to help, or we can overpower the people there and take the weapons- damn us)

4. Who do you contact?
Family not in the area.

5. Where do you go to escape?
Not sure escape would be the easiest thing. If anywhere, then it would have to be very rural areas(which isn’t far from us since I live in the Hi-Desert), islands with little to no population, and perhaps a yacht or cruise ship(cleared out of course). My brother and I decided, if we have to stay then clear out a Home Depot or Lowes and stay there for some time. Think about it, a store like that can be easily barricaded, its filled with weapons, it can hold a lot of people, the only thing you need to do is occasionally go out for supplies. Of course you’d have choose who you would bring. Like I said, my close friends and close-by family. Then the whole women factor. You want to bring the attractive ones, but what of the cool ones you knew ‘before the war’? And the last resort for escape is Bill Murray’s house.

1: I would grab my backpack, load it up with some food and water, grab a flashlight, batteries, spray paint, my ipod, my phone, gum, lockpicks, my lacrosse pads ( must be hard to bite someone when they have armor).
2: Large kitchen knives, hockey sticks, lacrosse stick, baseball bat, 2×4x, golf clubs, metal poles, big wooden scimitar i got from a renisance fair. (lol its huge).
3: I would probably check out my windows to see who was outside to see if its safe, I would probably go to a dick’s sporting goods store, its near a mall which is good.(food) The dicks sporting goos has a lot of clean clothes, running shoes, its two stories (with elevators) You could turn the elavators on backwards so no zombies could get up, Not to mention all the guns dick’s has.
4: I would immediatly contact my family ( if i wasn’t already with them) I would probably call my friends who i could trust and who i knew would help me in this situation.
5: I would end up either on an island or up north, or in a settlement (like in the end of I AM LEGEND). I think its smart to go somewhere cold because it slows zombies and height is always an advantage.

6: I thought it would also be smart to add special things that would help me survive.

It would be smart to get a DVD of Season 1 of the COLONY, they teach you how to make so much stuff.
Also it would be smart to have the movie ZOMBIELAND, for the rules of surviving.

Grab some canned food, medical supplies, and tools for building barricades (plus tons of nails).

2. What weapons do you have around the house?

Sword, Bow, Arrow, Shotgun

3. Where do you go first?

Car dealership, where I take a car and load it with guns and ammo from a gunstore and food from grocery stores.

4. Who do you contact?

A few friends and loved ones so that we can each gather enough supplies to survive a few months without having to resupply.

5. Where do you go to escape?

Head deep into the woods, building a series of houses high enough where we can spot approaching zombies/survivors. Plus the woodland creatures may be a good source of food if needed.

I know there’s a format, but there’s a book entitled The Complete Zombie Survival Guide that you might check out. It’s by Max Brooks.

Guess I need to add this to my FAQ page. Yes, I’ve read it, I’ve also read World War Z. I’ve also seen pretty much every zombie (even remotely zombie related) movie ever made. Thanks for the heads up though.

The Zombie Survival Guide never fails:

1. What supplies do you grab?

Water
Canned Food
Advanced Medical Kit
Gas (for generators or cars)
Building Materials (for barricades)

2. What weapons do you have around the house?

2 .22 Rifles (1 Bolt and one Semi-Auto)
Various Knives
Crowbar

3. Where do you go first?

Depends. If it is a small outbreak then I would stay put and barricade up my house. If it was a large one then I would go somewhere far away from people.

4. Who do you contact?

Family first then friends. No use calling the cops or any other public servants. All the lines would be busy.

5. Where do you go to escape?

An oil rig or large cargo ship.

Go Lightweight/Speed

1. Take only essentials from first aid, and only lightweight snacks. Yummy Gummy bears. Take clothes that will give you some protection but allow you to run like chickenshit.
2. Hammer, no kitchen knives but maybe a meat cleaver. Chainsaw too heavy for a journey. Don’t waste time with heavy things.
3. Go to the army store next to where I work. It has camping items and katanas and crossbows. I would take a katana and a portable cooker and those dried camping foods. A bottle of gas would be heavy but neccessary.
4. I’d just grab the hottest girl I could see and go. Screw contacting anyone.
5. Go to where I work. A fruniture store, complete with plenty of barricades, a workshop full of deadly tools, and a kitchen with some food and coffee, and an office full of computers. And its also got an motion sensor and cctv at the door. theres no other way to get in but from the front door as well. Go me.

1. I would grab some nonperishable food, a back pack, a bottle of whiskey from my dad’s liquor cabinet.

2. weapons I have around the house are a sporting shotgun, a couple of shovels, hedging shearers (great for zombie decapitations), and my car.

3.A place I would go first would be a church, not because i’m a religious nut, but because there would definitely be people there trying to fortify it, hoping the zombies would stay off holy ground. I could maybe find extra weapons or supplies some generous people brought there.

4. I would contact close fiends that I know would be physically able to survive and we would band together for protection and survival, moving from place to place and eventually have a roving convoy like in the resident Evil : Extinction

5. I would set up a fortress in the middle of some god forsaken rural area and hope they can’t smell from miles away.

1 - daypacks for food, pure water, simple medicine.
2 - none but this is just a question of time to get one. preferred weapon is a combat shotgun like spas-12.
3 - first i will go to get weapons and ammunition.
4 - closest friends. it is simplier to survive in small armed groups than alone.
5 - to a place where population is minimal and nearest settlement is far than 50 miles away in any direction.

I think that u should:

1)Grab ur family (unless theyre dead or undead)

2) take car to nearest police station.

3)Grab as much food and guns as we can.

4)Find good place to stay

5)Barricade whole house

6)Stay quiet and dont attract too much attention.

1. Food and water for at least a week; stout flashlight; one spare set of clothes; radio; multitool; axe; crowbar; lighter.
2. too many to count; I’d bring the Garand, the Jericho 941, and the trench knife.
3. Nowhere, at first; I wait until there’s ANY official word about evacuation/safe-houses. In the meanwhile I prep the house for siege, leaving only to hit up the markets for supplies.
4. Nobody; my safety is more important, the more people that know you’ve got supplies, the more will come to take them. The military is the only exception.
5. Nowhere until there’s word that there is an actual evacuation attempt.

I grab as many MRE’s as I can fit in a duffle, and load them into the truck along with my .45, 30-06, and 2 12 guage shot guns. I will then put on my tac vest and other SWAT gear and use my duty issued .40 cal Glock and Colt M4 as a primary means to protect my wife and child. If the 3 labs in the back yard are still OK, I’ll take them with me as well (Police Dogs can come in handy). We would all then go to the Police station where I work and add the several thousand rounds of ammunition from my house to the stash at my office. We will then use all of the Homeland security gear we have to make one hell of a stand until we either get pulled out or kill them all. Failure is not an option. Anyone who can pull a trigger will fight. If you don’t know how to fire a gun, I will teach you in 60 seconds or less.

1. What supplies do you grab?
I would grab my old army rucksack and fill it with the usual: Water, clothes, food (i.e., tins), sleeping bag. Just enough to keep going for a few days. To much stuff means to much weight.
Which leads to a fine feature for the game: You need something to stuff your inventory into and move along. A plastic bag wouldn´t be best choice (but could be found anywere), a sporting bag offers much space but is bulky, and only a rucksack provides enough carry capacity with both hands free…

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
Knifes, baseball bats, hammers, guitars ;-)

3. Where do you go first?
See question No. 2: Damn, all those wandering would be about reaching some friend´s house who owns all these fine tools like a Mini 14, Shotgun, axes, pistols and so on.

4. Who do you contact?
Friends and relatives, and since I´m a reservist, the army.

5. Where do you go to escape?
Depends on what´s going on. An high building, a lonely rural area, the coast, an airport…

Con Artists, I have a name for you, The FINAL Stand. It relates to the old games and, if it is the 3rd and Final, it would be the LAST Last Stand. Now let me note I am a teenager living in a Rural Community. And although I am much younger, I have extensive Zombie Knowledge and have had to survive in worse. I am prepared…

1. What supplies do you grab?
I grab all the Canned Food (and Can Opener…) and Water Bottles
I can find, along with my Survival Kit, which includes various
First Aid tools, 16 Matches, a few maps, and Emergency Rations.
I would grab all the tools I can, and…everything below, sir.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
I have various blades around the house, such as Swords and a
Machette, Molotov Cocktails, Paintball/Pellet Guns, along
with improvised weapons such as an Automatic Marble
Cannon, Sports Tools, and much, much more.

3. Where do you go first?
I would head down to my Grandparent’s House, as they own
Guns that I could use, and add them to my collection. After
that, there are various areas I could go. I would most likely
head back to my house and plan it out a bit more.

4. Who do you contact?
I would contact my best friend Sam. He is almost as ready
for this hellish nightmare as I am. He has various Firearms
in his dad’s garage, and his house would be a great place
to fortify, as it is very large and easy to set up traps in.

5. Where do you go to escape?
My plan? I would first go to Wal-Mart and fortify the great
store for a few nights, at least long enough to get all of
their Supplies and such ready. I would then proceed to the
local Gun/Bait shop and get more guns, then travel from
town to town, until I reach either the closest Military Base
or Mexico, hoping for my retreat. Then I’ll hope to live
out my days destroying the Zombies forever……..

1)I grab all the canned food, some snacks then go up to the petrol station near my house ( only about 100m aways) and get ALL the propane gas tanks that they have also get my ipod and a charger, I need music.

2)The only weapons I have are a crowbar, a knife, a cricket bat,a hatchet, and a samurai sword.

3) I would drive to the next suburb over from ine to the rifle range, police station (guns) and supermarket.

4) contact my friends ( my family is either in another state or in the same hosue as me)

5)Probably go to my friends house and hold out in his house (it only has one entrance) and make a barricade out of the fence and try to saw down a tree so I can use that for the barricade. During the day I would hunt for more food so that we can make a move to a country town, preferably near a river for water and vegetation.

1. Metal wire, car batteries, and a generator to create an improvised electric fence. Also proximity sensors taken from home alarm system to rig it to an old air-raid siren or bell for advanced warning of incoming zombies. I would wear old riot gear that I was given to me when I retired from the police force.
2. Surprisingly, a lot. M2 Browning Machine Gun with tripod, M79 grenade launcher, M249 Saw, claymores, and makeshift IEDs.
3. Rooftop of my house.
4. Family and friends. Or seek the nearest force of fighters.
5. A tower or high place of some sort. I heard zombies were bad climbers.

3.
I’ve go to a hunter’s shop on other street there are guns like shotgun and rifle. Oh and some solid field backpack. (Dont forget good, no i mean GOOOD pair of boots)
4.
Ill contact my family.
Screw goverment they let zombie apocalipse to happen so aren’t reliable.

1. What supplies do you grab?
Food and Water, of course. Also a communications device, in case phone lines still work. In addition, a water heater, some vegetable oil, a frying pan, a pot, and a portable stove. I’d need those for cooking instant food. Also, if I’m in America, I would go for guns and ammo, at police stations or nearby military bases. I’d grab a copy of “The Zombie Survival Guide”.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
Hammers, Kitchen Knives, Choppers, and my monitor. Also, I have bricks that are used as stands for flowerpots outside.

3. Where do you go first?
I’d go to school where all my friends have planned to meet in the event of a zombie apocalypse.

4. Who do you contact?
There’s no need to contact anyone other than surviving police or medical staff. I have everyone right here.

5. Where do you go to escape?
We’d barricade ourselves in the school’s general office and camp it out, occasionally sneaking out to grab supplies. There’s a mall and many supermarkets nearby, so we’re not afraid of running short.

1. What supplies do you grab?
I grab nothing, I’m already set up in my house. I’ve got a years worth of supplies, food, water, energy stored already. I’ve also set up city livestock (Rabbits and Pigeons) that provide new food with little upkeep, I have a garden outback set up for spring, summer and fall use, and inside I have a garden set up for winter growing.

2. What weapons do you have around the house?
A large assortment of Shotguns and rifles, only two pistols, and I suppose you could use my large collection of Battle Ready swords, maces and composite bow if you wanted to.
3. Where do you go first?
Home of course.
4. Who do you contact?
Close family and friends, then I check out ZombieHunters.org, see if anybody else is seeing what I am, and if not inform them.
5. Where do you go to escape?
I don’t go anywhere, I’m set up at home to live a sustainable and happy life, fucking going places I’m good here. If I have to leave I follow the Rule of three for this as well, I got a Ranch outside of the city, then I have a place to go to in Colorado, and then another one in Montana, and last but not least in British Colombia.

(165) Continued.

I really wanted to make another post Con because I think I should give a more “Entertaining” answer…A answer that people would have fun playing apposed to a very realistic approach that I had before. I love your games and Last Stand is my favorite flash game.

1.) I would bring water,Alcohol(could also clean wombs) and have a duffel bag full of anything I could grab (chips, cans of soda, pack of hot dogs)

2.) Assuming that this is for pure “entertainment”. I would bring an automatic shotgun,5 flares (zombie distracter/find help from helicopters) Two hand guns with alot of ammo over strength(Who want to always be reloading?) A Smith and Wesson 500 (A few shots only)(Strongest handgun in production)

3.) I would go for my mother or my sisters try to find them and give them what ever weapons i had brought in my duffel bag.

4.) I would try to find out who in my family is acceptable to go find “I’m not going over state lines just to bring someone back over”.

5.)Try to cross oceans if its North America only. If im stuck id try to head to the Poles. If that was to far out of the question then I would go the direction of the way opposite of everyone else.

I love all of your games Con and 100%’d all of them. Keep u all of the great work and I hope this helps!

food gun, lots of gasoline, matches/lighters, homemade napalm, Molotov cocktail, car so I could squish those stupid zombies, a backpack,
a couple of books of our recorded history and how to use and generate electricity, then i would loot a police station, and a gun station for weapons, loot a grocery store and take about 3 suit cases worth off food, and i would take my girl friend with me, drive to a dock, jack a boat, and sail to an uninhabited island, which the ocean is full of, and by the time my grandchildren had kids, all the zombies would be dead, since zombies don’t have babies in all, they sail back and walla, humanity prevails

revision:
additional items id want to grab, cell phone, itd help for a bit, and once the battery’s dead, ill just hurl it at infected, probably useless, but its the Apocalypse, so it really don’t matter. Also, when i headed for military base, id need as many supplies as possible, it could even be there are no supplies there, which would be bad… A human can live a few weeks without food, so that wouldn’t be problematic, but water…

id contact my family nd tell them to b careful nd if they can eather get outa here or get to me also my friends cause som hav zombie plans to so ill try to get as many people as i can

where id go would b a wal-mart thats just up from my house with all the people i got take cars nd other vehicles nd barricade up all but 1 of thedoors so they cant get in
from there id take a group of people to the army reserve station nd get ahold of som vehicles: 5tons,hummves,nd a M1120 HEMTT (a 10 wheeled monster of a truck.
there i raid places like lowes nd homedepo for bullding materal nd hit up pawn nd small gunshops while trying to get a hold of more heavy vehecles finally id push my way to the national guard building on the very far side of a naboring town to see if they have ant tanks there. while that happened another group would work in turning walmart into a fortress to protect survivors.

after every thing is set send heavy armored patrols out to search for suvivors nd supplys so my army could fiight the war aginst the undead. i devised this plan (that is the basic outline) from reading the zombie survival guide it was a good book.

1 supplys: i would use the sink to get water to store in water cooler bottles. I would also get kitchen knifes and an axe (not very sharp but its killed and it will kill again =) then i would get my dad to drive to the local super market to get supplies. the whole lane would work as a communty (the lane has about 20 odd people. we would block of the drove and dial 999

then pray to whatever is up there

Supplies:
Food, water, bug spray (you never know), first aid kits, pills, cages.

Weapons:
Silence-able guns such as pistol, smg, and sniper rifle, A heavy hitting melee weapon such as an axe or machete, a weapon for over kill such as and auger or lawn mower, explosive weapons like grenades, and counter measure/trap weapons like land mines or trip wires.

Shelter:
Definatly a place where weren’t when the zombie epidemic started because if there was no one there in the first place there is not going to be anoyone there now. So preferably an abandoned place outside of and large settlements.

Fellow survivors:
Only the closest people like friends and family. Also useful people who fix up guns, battlements, fortifacations, etc.

Escape:
I know its generic but find a helicopter and gtfo or a network of underground tunnes and gtfo whichever one you want.

Alright here ya go, it’s all truth too XD
1. I got my caned foods I’d most likely grab
2.I’d grab my hunting shot gun (For big game)
3.Uh I’d go to for the Trackter trainler/moving company, Get one, and get going to mall for food and stuff
4.Most likely my friend John, he’s a cop, most likely with a pistol and training so.
5. Now the area of escape, well think, if people are even a little infected I don’t think there IS a place to go……

First i will look in our medic box and grab some medic. Than i would take good clothes to fight against zombies. Than i would look in the fridge and take some food.
I would look in my farthers workshop to grap
the chainsaw or other stuff. Later i would call my best friend mike if hes alright and if he can come. With him and my family i would go to our island in the lake. There i would wait for help. If no one cames we must search for it and thats when the adventure begins… :)
